Garpenius looked at Athanasius who looked as if he'd been beaten black and blue
"Tsk tsk is that your pride and joy?" Sabellious sarcastically asked "he couldn't beat a simple aid"

Garpenius was trembling in fear unable to stand he had thought everything had gone his way he dirtied his hands just to sit on the throne now the last words Diana (Sabellious's mother) had said to now echoed through is mind.
"Are you not satisfied Garpenius is the throne not enough for you" diana had painful tears falling down her eyes
Garpenius sit and the throne and look down at the woman who even in this situation still held her head up with pride
"I've gave you everything my power my love my son and this how you repay"
Garpenius said nothing and kept on looking at the whose eyes were red and painful the woman who once looked at him love and passion now looked at him with utter hatred
"Take the criminal away" Garpenius words where cold and held no emotions in them
She said nothing and just cried as the guards dragged her by her chains she pauses
"Let it not be today that's all I asked" she said
"Why prolong the inevitable" he said mocking her
"Please not today anyday but today"
Garpenius disregard her plea and the guards dragged her off as the tied her to the long stake a child's voice could be heard breaking through the crowd
"Mother no! Mother"
Diana's eyes wide opened as she rest her eyes on the innocent little boy before him the guards lit the wood on fire as diana clenched her teeth in anger
"You couldn't even spare the child of seeing his own mother being burned I hate you Garpenius it will not be well with you you shall have no piece and you shall suffer just as I suffer hear me mark my words on this day you will feel my wrath go it"
That day Garpenius was happy about the misery of the little bastard and his mother but now looking at him it's just like hears eyes filled with hatred
"I wonder what expression you'd make if I severed his head before you" Sabellious asked Garpenius
Garpenius's eyes wide open his eyes in terror as he watched Athanasius's horror filled face
"Please b-brother l-lets not resolve this with violence"
Sabellious turned his attention to Athanasius
"Something like you still has the guts to talk"
Sabellious kicked Athanasius in the face he falls to the floor and quiver in pain as blood runs from his mouth and tears flow from his eyes
"Too bad because violence is all I know"
"Sabellious stop this his your brother and the next heir to the throne" Garpenius orders
Sabellious turned his attention back to Garpenius he was really arrogant in a situation like this he still had the nerve to order him around it was laughable but what's more it infuriated him, Sabellious slowly walked up to Garpenius
"Bow down" he said slowly
"I will never bow down to a wretched thing like you" Garpenius said full of pride
Sabellious turned his eyes to Oryan who nod he then kneeled on the back of Athanasius and took his middle finger and broke it all the way up Athanasius let out an agonizing scream as tears fall down his eyes
"Please father"
Oryan took a second finger and broke all the way as well Athanasius yelled out louder and Sabellious looked at Garpenius watching the scene with despair on his face
Finally it was time for the next finger
"Please father just do it I can't take it anymore please" Athanasius begged with all his might
Garpenius couldn't stand Sabellious was not afraid to go on all day torturing him but he was barely holding on
"It seems your pride is worth more than your son Ory-"
"Stop....... I shall do it"
Garpenius could see now that Sabellious was never obedient he was just patient someone who has spent his every moment planning this day he saw that he was very lenient on him Garpenius slowly went down on one knee then the next and kowtow
"Please spare my son"
