Ariadna clenched Amir's wrist tightly as she looked at the huge gold carriage, this was obviously no ordinary carriage since it mostly gold decorated it and the imperial emblem could be seen on the strapped horses was this a joke.

"Mom it hurts" Amir winched

Ariadna released her grip on the boy then bend down and lifted him up she was ready to run with him if need be, but instead of running she casually walked turning her back to the carriage after all her hair was black instead of it's usual red.

"Mom why are we turning back?" He asked confused

"Shh you need to be quiet Amir please"

Amir was worried at how shakey low and afraid his mother sound usually he would protest and put up a front but stayed silent and hug her around the neck to comfort her, Ariadna's heart was beating through her chest she was panicked scared and think of everything bad that could happen.

Amir tilted his head when he saw a very handsome man stepped out the carriage and lean back on it then turned to him, the man was very fierce is eyes looked like a wild animal as he stared back at him for the first time in his little life Amir was scared very scared but he also admired the cold scary man.

"Are you really going to ignore me Ariadna?" He asked coldly

Ariadna had felt someone peering down in her back she had hope it was not him but his intense eyes almost made her legs gave out

"I'm sorry but I think you've mistaken me for somebody else"

She lied not turning around Amir looked deadly at the man Ofcourse his mother dare not turn around but was she lying again why will she not stop lying.

"Ariadna it would be best not to openly lie to an emperor while there so many eyes around" he leans his head back "I don't want to force so it's best to come freely," he said

"Please sir your really mistaken me for somebody else"

Sabellious sigh then points at Amir suddenly a shadow presence came and grabbed Amir from Ariadna she quickly turned in shock but the child was already next to Sabellious,

"AMIR!"

"MOMMY!"

The 2 were shocked by how fast that escalated Amir was even more terrified that he was right next to the terrifying presence and wanted to cry, Ariadna didn't want him closer to her child it was evident the 2 looked a lot alike the only thing that denies the proof of him being Sabellious's child was the golden eyes that passed down from generation to generation in the royal family.

"You finally turned Ariadna Madeleine" he said

"Please your majesty let him go" she begged with pleading eyes

"Shall we talk first then"

Ariadna knew she couldn't escape after all the knight appeared out of nowhere and was fast there was no beating someone so experience in stelf she sighed sadly then slowly walked up to him, she quickly took her child and hugged him tightly as if she'd never let him go the carriage door open and all 3 went in.

"I see you have an illegitimate child with the bastard you ran off with"

Ariadna said nothing she wanted to say the only bastard was you but she kept her words

"May asked why am I here?" She said politely

"Is it wrong for a husband to seek his wife" he answered

Aria looks at Sabellious puzzled

"Have you forgotten we are divorced"

"And that divorce paper is long overdue"

Aria was getting more and more confused she looked down at the boy who hold on to her waist tightly she gently pat his back then looked up back at Sabellious.

"How can a divorce be over due?" She asked

"Did you not read it?" He asked almost surprised at her

Ariadna was confused why did he looked so baffled that she didn't read the agreement honestly she was deeply hurt back then and still is, she couldn't bare to read it and just signed it to be insulted like why would she read what's on it no one would read it in her situation, seeing her expression Sabellious leaned forward and look at her in the eyes.

"Ariadna the divorce was temporary"
