"So . . . This is my room." Jungkook told me in a quiet voice after he had opened the door for me to step inside one of the rooms upstairs.
I breathed in the sweet scent of the bunny that the room was filled with, looking around as I did. There was a large desk in one corner, art supplies scattered around it while an easel was propped up over by the window. A TV screen hung on one wall, various video game consoles and controllers tucked into a unit below it. A tall wardrobe stood near the door, some clothes sticking out and preventing it from fully closing. I smiled a little when I saw a double bed with rumpled sheets, thinking back to my phone call with a sleepy bunny earlier this morning.
"Sorry, it's kinda messy." He yelped suddenly, flitting around the room to snatch up a few stray clothes and empty snack packets, hiding them away out of sight before rushing to smooth out his bedding.
"Jungkookie, relax." I cooed, walking over and stilling his frantic patting. "Everything looks great." And it did. His room felt cozy and calm.
He turned to me then, a contented smile on his face as he took my hands and looked down at me.
"I can't believe you're in my room." He chuckled, leaning down to tickle his nose against mine. "And you're wearing my hoodie again!"
He ran his hands up the too long sleeves, tugging on them and making me fall against him with a squeal. Wrapping his arms around me with a happy noise, Jungkook rested his cheek against the top of my head, hugging me close.
"What d'you wanna do, angel? We can do anything you want. We can watch a movie, paint, play video games . . . anything." He listed off suggestions while I circled my arms around his slender waist, thinking that I would be content to do nothing more that hug the hybrid for the rest of the day.
"Hmm . . ." I hummed in thought, my heart jumping when I felt Jungkook's lips press gently into my hair. "V-video games might be fun?"
"Yay! Okay!" He cheered, releasing next from his arms and grinning toothily down at me.
"I suck at them though, fair warning." I warned with a grimace, not having played them in years.
My sister had been the gamer of our family.
"That's okay. We'll still have loads of fun together!" Jungkook promised with another easy smile before turning towards the TV to set everything up.
"Mario Kart!" I laughed, recognising the characters from my childhood as the title screen appeared.
"Yeah!" Jungkook grinned at my reaction, turning back to me with two wheel shaped controllers in his hands. "You've played before?"
"Um, not this one." I squinted at the screen, the graphics way better than I remembered. "I remember playing an older version ages ago. So fun."
The bunny nodded. "Mhm. This is the latest one. Namjoonie hyung spoils me." He bit his lip, blushing a little as he handed me one of the wheels.
"You deserve spoiling, prince." I said, pecking his pink cheek.
"Staaawp!" He giggled, reaching to fiddle with the tip of one of his long ears. My eyes eagerly tracked the movement, still longing to touch his silky looking ears for myself as much as I had been since the moment I'd first seen them.
"J-Jungkookie oppa?" I began, shy to ask him.
"Yeah baby?" His eyes had widened at my tone, his free hand winding around my waist to draw me close to him.
"Um, c-can I? Would it be okay if I, um, t-touched your ears?" I stuttered out, blinking up into his beautiful dark eyes.
"Of course you can, my sweet angel." He answered immediately, a soft smile tugging at his lips.
