Today is my bridal shower. Yie. Next week na kasal ko. OMG! Kinikilig parin ako. Bakit ganon?

Nandito kami sa "Hotel Crystal" for my bridal shower.

Syempre andito si BECCA my ever supportive bestfriend, Amanda, Aina-Farrah-Jade-Summer-Lovi-Jazmine-Kiana (my cousins), Polly and Fifi, Mikaella-Monique-Marielle-Tamara-Chloe-Saphire the girls I met in London and Cheka, the Filipino writer in Vogue.

"So girls. Thank you all for coming to my bridal shower. Yie! I still feel giddy. What the hell?!"

Nagtawanan naman sila nung sinabi ko yun.

"I'm so excited to start a new chapter of my life with Tyrone. Oh my gosh."

Kinikilig ako! Bat ba?! Shh. Quiet!

"Being a maiden is so fun and you even make it memorable for me. But of course, I need to follow my heart. And surprisingly? It led me to Tyrone's arms. You have been a huge part of my life. Thank you so much."

Naiiyak na ako. Bipolar? Bipolar? No. The feeling is just so overwhelming.

Sabi ko habang tumuturo sakanila.

"I was supposed to give this to you one by one later. But I know that by that time, we'll be drunk as fck and I don't want you not to remember that moment. Hihi."

Then kinuha ko na yung bag na naglalaman nung mga gifts ko for them

"Becca." Tawag ko then lumapit sya tas umupo sa upuan (of course) sa tabi ko.

"Becca. Whooh! How will I start this? Uhm. You have been my sister from another mister, best friend, mommy, housemate, baby, partner in crime, teacher, shoulder. You're my other half... Well, untik Ty came."

Nagtawanan silang lahat while Becca? Ayun! Naka-pout.

"But I love you as much. I give you this bracelet that symbolizes our friendship."

Yung bracelet, simple thick silver base tas may 3 charms. Kalahating puso, kalahating handcuffs at kalahating katawang tao.

Puso because, we love each other so much hihi. Handcuffs because we're partners in crims nga diba? And katawang tao because we're soul-sisters.

Yung kalahati? Nasakin. Same kami.

Becca hugged me with tears in her eyes.

"I love you." She said and everybody clapped.

"Next in line? Amanda Yuuuu!"

Umupo din sya at nag speech na ako

"You're like the bridge of Ty and I. You talk to me, you talk to him just to hear our sides and for us to mend whatever is broken. And for that, thank you. You always save us. Always."

Binigyan ko sya ng alkansya na bridge ang shape. Personalized yun! Tas sa gilid may nakalagay na "You are our bridge. Our lifesaver."

She hugged me and everybody clapped again.

"For mesh cousins." Lumapit silang lahat at umupo sa floor

"We share the same blood. You'll always be a part of me, no matter what. Thank you for leading me to the right path."

I gave them a heart-necklace na may parang veins palibot tas sa likod, nakalagay Abellana. Wala kasi akong cousins kay mom.

"For the LONDON GALS!" Lumapit sila while dancing. So cute.

"Thank you for teaching me how to party hard hahaha. Kidding aside. Thank you for letting me show my inner nicki minaj."

Nagtawanan naman sila

"But most of all, thank you for being with me through my hard times in London. I love you, cats!"

"Love you too, baby Octiv!" Octiv tawag sakin sa London. Qtqt

"And for that, I give you these cute glasses."

Wine glass sya actually na may nakalagay na "Party girls don't get hurt" paikot sa glass. Yung chandelier ni Sia? Dun kinuha yun.

"And for my writing buddy."

Lumapit si Cheka at umupo sa chair beside me.

"CHEKA! You are the girl who I can spend the rest of my day with doing time-worthy things. Specially when it comes to writing. You've been my partner in success and for that, I thank you."

She smiled oh-so-sweetly.

"I give you this personalized pen."

Sign pen sya na nakalagay yung name sa gilid.

After giving all of the gifts, the party started.

Drink, dance, boys. This is the life that I'll happily walk away from because of Tyrone.

May lumapit sakin na guy and asked me to dance. Hmmm. Sige na nga.

We danced and danced while drinking. Hah! I feel like I'm in London again.

Natapos na ang inuman and lahat kami ay tipsy. Di naman lasing na paaang. You get me?

It's time for them to give me gifts.

Natatawa ako sa mga regalo nila.

Lingerie, eye covers, cat ears. Wtf? Hahahaha!

I love these girls. I love this night.

But something made my night EVEN better.
