I was woken by the muffled sounds of voices, my body was limp and had been placed on the damp floor of Snapes office.
My head was throbbing and I forced myself to sit up, all eyes turned to me.
"Good you're awake." Snape said.
He's literally so unbothered by this.
"I need to go home and check on my brother."
"No." he began shuffling through his shelves.
The door swung open and Dumbledore entered, closely followed by a lady I didn't recognise.
She was short and had bright red, frizzy hair, she wore knitted clothing which looked homemade, it suited her.
"Miss Goldhunt, glad you're awake, I'd like to introduce you to a good friend of mine, this is Molly Weasley, I believe you're in the same year as her son Ron?" he looked from the woman, to me, and then back to the woman.
"Okay?... I still need to go and see my brother."
"See that's just the thing my dear," the woman began, sitting on the ridiculously uncomfortable sofa that was, other than a desk set, was the only piece of furniture in the room,
"you don't need to see your brother. What was his name again?" she tapped the seat beside her, signalling me for me to join her.
Slowly I got up and walked over to her, sitting at the very edge of the seat.
"Alex," I looked down, "I do need to see him though, you don't understand, I heard him."
I looked to Dumbledore desperately.
Mrs Weasley grabbed my hand and I looked towards her.
"I know you think you do my dear, you and Alex haven't had the best start to life, and you probably feel as though you need to protect him all the time. Reality is, you've just been strong for too long, he's a big boy now. I've heard about your dreams and well, being sleep deprived can really mess with your brain." she smiled softly which only made me angry.
"Professor," my attention is fixed now on Snape, "why have you brought Mrs Weasley here."
"Please call me Molly dear."
I nodded my head, my gaze was still fixated on Snape.
He stepped forward, "Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall and myself came to the executive decision that, given everything going on right now and your lack of a motherly figure growing up, you may need, some guidance."
What. The. Fuck.
I was on my feet within a second, Mrs Weasley's hand dropping from mine.
"So you think I'm going crazy, what because I'm adopted."
I was furious.
My eyes burning I began shouting, "Let me go and see my brother, now!"
Again the door swung open, this time with urgency.
"Where is she?"
Mattheo.
"Let me see him now, he's not okay and I know it."
Mattheo ran to me and grabbed my arm, for reassurance.
"Why does nobody believe me?!" At this point I was begging.
"No we don't think you're going crazy, we just think that, at the moment you may be, a little unstable."
I stared in disbelief.
