Sakura came back to her room, feeling small. A part of her was still itching to go to the festival but as she caught a glimpse of her reflection on the mirror, only a long sigh of discouragement was released audibly. She was saving up money to buy her own apartment before she turned 25. She wanted to own a cozy home, renting was too costly. That's why she'd been spending little money recently. So it was absolutely wise to stay in the room and not stepping a foot outside. But damn, she still wants to see those beautiful lights and fireworks in dark sky of night. Watching them had always been her favorite and she never missed a chance in Konoha. It would be super amazing to experience them in such a beautiful country like earth, together with its different cultures. If only she could manage to the festival, there'd be a whole lot to brag the girls about her experiences back in Konoha. But it seemed she wasn't going anywhere tonight.

Sakura lay flat on the mattress, it was only early evening and there's no way she could fall asleep. What worse was she didn't like the idea of Kakashi being out there together with Mei. She knew Kakashi was single and free to go anywhere with anyone he wants and all of that was none of her business. He wasn't bound to her. Yet, she couldn't shake the feeling off her chest. Chewing her lips, she wondered, maybe she had spent a lot of time with him in past few weeks and developed a little stupid crush on him? True or not, that sounds stupid just by thinking it. She didn't want to be a hormonal school girl who was in love with her teacher because he gave her a tiny bit of attention. Besides, she was so fed up with crushes and love interests. So she didn't want to let anyone enter her heart, for now at least. It must be her hormones going wild and confusing her because period is drawing near, she concluded.

Sakura sat up and grabbed her bag to take out a novel that she always carried on trips. Not that she loves to read it, in fact she hadn't even read it till the end, it just felt nice to have the book in her bag. Tonight, this novel would company her. Books are one of the best sleep-inducing things, especially when it is a dead boring one.
She opened the book and started to read it from somewhere randomly that might intrigue her. It didn't take long to feel her eyelids become heavy and a yawn was released without any control. It had been only fifteen minutes or so but she was already feeling like hours. Her eyes were about to close, slowly drifting into sleep when the window to her room opened loudly and a figure jumped in. Sakura jolted awake and instantly brought herself to defense position, before relieving with a sigh as the intruder was someone who she thought was at the festival.

"You scared the hell out of me," she pissed, "Can't you come in through the door like normal people?"

"Nope. Don't blame me. Ninjas must be always on guard," Kakashi said defensively and walked to Sakura before giving her a square white paper box with a pink bow on it which he was holding since he came inside.

"What's that?" She asked almost excitedly, this beautiful package was telling her something dazzling is inside.

"Open it," he said calmly, folding his arms and waiting to see her reaction when she unpacked the box.

Sakura complied with excitement, gulping and slowly loosening the bow before completely untying it to open the lid of the cute white box. Her eyes gleamed looking at the thing lying inside and she gasped. Then, she turned to look at Kakashi unbelievably. He shrugged a little and silently gestured her to take a closer look at it. Sakura moved her eyes back to the box and slowly ran her hand on soft fabric of silk. It was a pastel green kimono, very well-made and looked ethereal. She slowly held the garment in her hands, feeling gentleness of fabric. There were printed small white sakura flowers all over that went so well with the fabric's soft green color. It was unusual for someone like her who wears red in most of the week to fall for that kind of color but she just couldn't help it. She found every piece of her was loving this beautiful kimono. However, something doesn't feel right.
