Sakura returned to her home and went straight to the bed. She hadn't any sleep all night and her limbs were begging for rest. Everything was forgotten the second her head touched the pillow and she fell asleep for hours and hours and hours until there came an abusing knock on the front door. Sakura rubbed her eyes, cursing whoever was banging her door and groggily went to open it. It was Ino.
"What the hell Forehead?! Are you sleeping until now?" The blonde asked loudly with her eyes wide, looking Sakura up and down as if she had no expectations at all to see her in that state, dried saliva at the corner of her mouth, shriveled nightwear and bird's nest head.
"No. I'm dancing in the shower," she said, feeling annoyed.
"My ass," the blonde rolled her eyes, ignoring her sarcasm and pushed herself inside, carrying a bag.
"Are you going somewhere?" Sakura asked, eying the large bag the blonde was holding.
"Yes! Forehead. What are you? 60 yo grandma? Your memory is rusty," Ino turned to face her, a hand on the hips. "The party at Hyuga's? Hanabi's celebration? Friday night? Remember??"
"Ohh.. yeah... I totally forgot," Sakura hit her forehead, feeling unbelievable that she actually forgot the big day she was looking forward to. Then her eyes drifted back to the blonde's bag again. "What's with that bag?"
"This?" Ino smirked, holding it up, "My all in one package. This has my gown, my makeup, skincare and accessories. Perfect, isn't it?"
Sakura snorted, frowning at the bag and thought if Ino owned more skincare products than her.
"No more talking. You have wasted ten minutes already," Ino pointed at the clock on the wall with her chin, "Look. You have two hours and 35 minutes left."
"Shit," Sakura ran into her bedroom to take off her clothes before rushing to the bath.
She did her quickest in the bathroom but when she was out, one hour and ten minutes had passed. It was acceptable because she had washed her hair, used hair mask, did mild scrubbing and even shaved her legs in that period of time.
Ino was already starting to wear makeup, her dark blue gown was gracefully laid on her bed. It was a sleeveless Chinese style long dress with an oval-shaped hole above the breast. Sakura dried her hair real quick and rummaged through her wardrobe, to find some elegant-looking dress for the party. The blonde helped her with choosing which to wear like a mom picking dress for her girl to go school prom. After what Sakura felt like hours, she had picked a dress which is rather new as she'd never worn outside. She'd bought it because it looked so cute and sexy when it was on the hung but after buying it, she didn't feel bold enough to wear. The blonde said she couldn't find a better dress for the night. It was a short lavender dress, short-sleeved and shoulders-off with a white butterfly in the chest. When both of them had put on makeup, they changed into their dresses. The lavender dress was a tight fitting one, lining all her curves and fell at the middle of her thighs, what Sakura was too short. The shoulder-off design had been quite popular lately so she wanted to follow the trend. The dress was indeed perfect for night outs at pubs and not so much for a noble party. However, the white butterfly in the middle was really cute and she didn't feel like a slut, to be honest.
At first, Sakura didn't have any intention to do her hair, she'd just comb it and let the way it is but the blonde insisted she'd give her a new look as her hair had grown past shoulders. Having Sakura sat in front of the dressing table, Ino began to do a high bun at the top of her head, letting a few strands fall on both sides of the face.
