Moving on

Cat and I woke up to go shopping. We woke up Juliet and Avery we took two vehicles and hit all the sales for Christmas. We all decided to join our monies together and get each other a small present but the rest was the children's shelter kids
When we told our parents this.  They gave me and Juliet money . Avery had her own money being 50 percent partner with my mom. We returned with my truck full in the back of my truck and the cab as well as the back seat of Avery's trunk and back seat.
It took us awhile to bring everything in and wrap them. Auntie Kiki picked up auntie Joey and help us all in wrapping the gifts.
My parents took me aside and gave me my lap top, truck keys and cell phone back.  THEY TOLD ME THEY HAD TO LOOK INTO THE LEGALITIES ON MY GUN AND GEAR.
I told them it was okay that I preferred it this way at this time. I explained to them being a carrier came too much responsibility  and I wasn't ready for it.  They said they would still look into it and let me know. I already knew the answer was no but didn't have the heart to tell them because they were trusting me.

Auntie Kiki said she was almost done with all of the auction items on site.  She had already placed on her website the pieces she would be doing the online bidding but stated the bidding would be on the day as stated on the flier done by her niece.
We laughed at my auntie when she said she put them up ahead of time to give more publicity to the shelter and hoped some people would just donate.  She was correct because the bank manager called her to tell her how much has been donated just solely so far for youths who aged out.  When she told us the amount and told Willie.  She said he cried because the amount was already 25,000 and he is almost sold out of tables. All the volunteers agreed to give up the one table reserved which sat 10 people so they can be sold.
I left to go to  get Jenna when she told me she broke her toe when one of the cooks dropped a slab of beef on it.  Her uncle was at the ER with her. 
Juliet I need your help. Okay what do you need. I need you to drive me to Jenna's place so I can pack her  a bag so she can stay with us. She broke her toe at work. Okay.
Avery my parents sure have loosen up on the girlfriend's staying over. Yes. We just have to make sure we don't break their rule of no sex in the cottage until we are 18. So far Olivia and I have kept our word.  I never thought they would change their mind. Yeah it started with Olivia.  What do you mean? Juliet this is something you need to ask them.  okay.
We arrived at Jenna's place.  Juliet noticed the paintings that Auntie Gloria did.
Avery does she know about auntie. She knows of her but doesn't know it's you know who.
Got it. Auntie sure was in a dark place when she did the big one. Yeah I asked auntie. She said it was her piece when she started well you know.
Okay got everything . Let's go and by the restaurant.  Avery will bring her by the cottage while I get her car.  Avery  yeah that is his name too. Cousin that is funny. I recall auntie seeing one but the name I thought she was joking. Nope. Thanks for bringing me no problem.  I will follow you to make sure we both get home safe. thanks Juliet. I park Jenna's car and Juliet parks her truck. Avery drives up. Jenna you okay. No I am ticked at the cook for being a  klutz. I told him always to wear gloves because the beef can get slippery. I am off of work for at least 6 weeks. Avery this is my cousin Juliet. Nice to meet you. Avery you..mu cousin Avery that is take her bag her uncle the other Avery and I got her. Sweetie I cannot pick you up. I know
I will get upstairs. It's okay.
All of sudden Juliet picked me up and carried me upstairs. I guess you ladies have it covered.  Yes. Avery here is her pain medication
If you need anything, call me day or night. Okay thanks.  Avery you okay to drive home? You can stay in one of the guest rooms. It's foggy.  We will get you a robe and wash your clothes for you.  I feel like a am a burden.  Avery  your niece has taken care of our Avery.  this is the least we can do.
I will get you some lounge pants to change into after you shower and I know we can find  a shirt. Thank you Sam no problem.  The guest room is here by the girls room. Thank you. MAY I BOTHER YOU FOR SOMETHING TO EAT. THE TWO OF US HAVE NOT EATEN YET? How about left over Thanksgiving food? Sure .
I showed Avery his bedroom and told him I would back shortly with a robe and clothes and asked him to toss his clothes out and we would wash them.
I brought him a new package of boxers and some clothes.  I figured we were about the same size or close to it.  He took a shower and Jane warmed up food for them both. Juliet took Jenna hers and I left his on the night stand for him with beer and water.  Not sure which one he prefer with a bottle opener. 
Babe your family is so awesome allowing my uncle to stay. Yes. The fog rolled in quick. Auntie Kiki and auntie Joey are staying too. Lisa is out so she went to get auntie izzy. And having auntie Izzy's car to be towed here. We have a full house like we use to for the holidays.  It's nice
Yeah your right.  Jenna I am sorry .
Juliet its just me and my uncle now. Mu parents and sib died years ago.  Being around your family reminds me of so how much I miss them Jenna I am so sorry. It does get harder around the holidays but that is what got me involved with the shelter of cooking for them. I have an idea.
I brought Avery's dinner in my cousin's bedroom and a chair from my bedroom and left a note for her uncle to find us and join us in Avery's bedroom . I went downstairs to get some cookies and milk so we could eat with them like a family. My parents and everyone else came upstairs with milk and cookies. Aunties arrived and they joined us too. My cousin's room was full with us all.
I mouthed to Juliet thank you. 
We all ate and laughed. 
Avery and Jenna said thank you.
Jane Sam you have a very thoughtful daughter. Thank you we said in unison. Everyone went to their bedrooms they would be sleeping in.
Babe I haven't seen my uncle smile like that in a very long time.  It was all my cousin's idea. I know. I locked my bedroom door and adjusted the pillows for Jenna to try to get comfortable.  She eventually nodded off . I knocked on Juliet's door. Juliet unlocked her door

You okay?
Yeah.  Jenna said she hasn't seen her uncle smile like that in years.  Thank you. No problem
Get to bed. You don't want her to think you wandered off. Your silly but I still love you.
We hugged and Juliet locked her door.
Babe we keep seeing her doing thoughtful things.
I know. Oh babe don't cry.  Sam our baby girl is back and has a big heart again. I know. I will be right back with our waters.
It felt good to do family things today. The icing on the cake was just  few moments ago. My cousin coming in telling me about Jenna's uncle.  I nodded off feeling good.
