"I'm back!" I said, shutting the door behind me. I dropped the shopping bags on the ground and plopped myself on the couch. After a few minutes of relaxing, I went to the kitchen for getting myself a glass of water. Then I headed upstairs to keep all the bags in my room.

I texted thanks to Rosaria and Mariana for letting me join them for shopping. Then I walked downstairs to the living room for playing Xbox. It was quite boring to play alone so I decided to Carrie. "Carrie?" I called out. No reply came, I called once again but still no reply. She would probably be in the tree house. I thought to myself. So I headed outside.

I climed the ladder and crawled into the tree house. "So then no one was alive?" Carrie asked Ruby. "Carrie! You should honestly stop leaving the house without letting me know!!" I argued. "But I wanted to come here!" She snapped back. "Woah! Carrie, don't forget your manners!" I said. "But I'll be alone anyway! After all of you...." She said, leaving the scentence uncompleted. "Carrie! Stop saying these creepy sentences which make no sense, because you never complete it!!" I scolded. "Whatever, you'll see..." She mumbled, that was barely audible. "What?" I arched an eyebrow. "Will you please get in the house! Mom is gonna be here anytime, she'll panick if she doesn't find us!" I informed. We both climed down the ladder and walked back to the house. After, about 5 minutes later mom arrived. I decided to tell her about Carrie's behaviour and how she has been behaving lately.

My Mom was in the living room, so I went to her and asked, "Um, Mom I wanted to tell you something..." "Yeah.." She said, not removing her gaze from the T.V. "Um, Yeah so Carrie has been acting different lately..." I trailed. "Okay. Can you be more specific.." She said, looing up at me. "Well, Carrie is always doing weird stuff like not completing the scentences which sound really creepy, like 'you all are gonna...' and stuff. And talks with Ruby alot, she doesn't really do that... And she back answered too.." I explained. "Noelle, kids have this phase in life where they talk to toys and stuff, but she'll gradualy grow out of it. But if it get's out of control let me know!" Mom said, giving me a ressuring smile. I shrugged and headed back to the room.

I had completed all my assignments so I had nothing left to do. I looked around the room for something interesting to do. My eyes landed on the box which had 'Diana' written on it. I walked towards it and decided to read the diary.

Sunday 29st, 1999

New Year's Eve is around the corner and I'm really excited. New house, New rooms, New furniture everything is going to be new! I'm sooo excited, but sad at the same time because, I'll have to leave my best friends, Kate and  Beth. But it sure will be exciting to move away from this old scary house.
This house belonged to my great grand mother and was passed on. I do like it, but it's kind of scary too.

I flipped the page and saw another note.

Tuesday 1st, 2000

I had an amazing New Year's Eve. I got many presents from my relatives, friends and neighbours. One of my neighbour, Mrs.Wilson gifted my a doll. It was really pretty, ofcourse it would be, it's porcelian! And I made new friends too, Jessie and Scarlett. I'm happy that I'm settling here. I even found a treehouse, it's really nice! I can't wait to show it to my friends.

Wednesday 3, 2000

It's not fair! My mom, dad and Jade are always stopping me from playing with Ruby. She is really sweet to me. My sister keeps on telling me to stop talking to her. But it's just that Ruby is really lonely and she has no to talk to. Well, I guess I'll just have till that day.... Ooops! I'm not suppose tell anyone!

What. The. Hell! It's exactly what Carrie does. I thought to myself. I closed the diary and decided not to think so much. It's probably just a coincident.

I know I know, it's a rreeaalllyy short chapter but I did not have any ideas yet. There were soo many tests last week and I had no time to think about the next chapter!
