It was really creepy how Carrie behaved similarly to Diana. Am I just over thinking it? Or is it real. What if it's real! Oh my God! What if Ruby is some kind of possessed doll or something.... "Earth to Noelle!" Rosaira said, waving her hand infront of me. "Is something bothering you?" She asked, with a hint of worry in it. "No, Just thinking about.... should I paint the tree houseor not..." I lied. "Oh okay! That's cool you have a tree house!" She complimented. "Mind if I join sometime?" She asked politely. "Sure!", "how about today after school" I suggested. "Okay!" She agreed.

"Wow, this place is so cosy!" Rosaria said, entering the tree house. "Yup.." I replyed. We bought some snacks to the tree house and played songs on Rosaria's phone. "Do you wanna play the next song?" She asked, handing her phone to me. "Sure" I said, taking the phone. I slid my thumb across the screen and a picture of her and Nate appeared. She saw the confusing expression on my face and said, "Well...me and Nate are in a relationship..." She blushed. "Aww, you guys look perfect!" I compimented. "What about Mariana, Cody and Tim?" I asked casually. "Um, Mariana and Cody are together and Tim is a single pringle!" She laughed.

It was getting late so we headed back to the house. "Bye Noelle!" Rosaria said giving me a hug.  "Bye Rachel" She waved goodbye to my mom. "Goodnight Care Bear" She hugged Carrie. We all said goodbye in chorus and I closed the door behind me.

I headed back to my room and decided to continue reading.

5th Saturday, 2000
   I don't know why, Jade always tells me not to play with Ruby. So I go to the tree house and talk to Ruby. Ruby says that she does not like Jade. She says that very soon everyone will go away and it will only be me and her. I will hide this diary in this tree house so no one can read it. We are going back to our old neighbour hood to tell our neighbours thank you for helping us.

Whhaaattt.... I thought to myself. I hope this all is just a joke, because Carrie acts exactly like Diana, and it's reeaalllyy creepy.

7th Monday, 2000

Yesterday we visited Mrs.Wilson who gifted me Ruby. She was really sick, so my parent were gone to the pharmacy for bringing her some medicines. Jade was at school and I was with Mrs.Wilson. She had gifted me that doll for a reason. She wanted to get rid of it. She also said that she didn't mean to hurt me, but that's the only way she could get away from Ruby. Then when she looked over my shoulder she suddenly became quite. So turned around to see Ruby sitting there. I didn't understand much what she said, so I went outside to play. Then finally mom and dad came and they gave her the medicines. And when we were going she told me sorry.... I don't know why...

I freaked out. All this wasn't making sense, but it was scary. So I kept the book aside. I looked at the time and it was almost gonna be dinner time. So I decided to play UNO with Carrie. When I went out I saw a shadow going towards the kitchen. It could not be mom and dad because they had gone out for bringing us some pizza. It might be Carrie, but she usually stays in her room or in the tree house. So before going downstairs I went to Carrie's room.

She was sitting there drawing. "Hey Carrie" I greeted, opening the door behind me. "Hey Noelle!" She smiled. "What you drawing?" I asked, sitting beside her on the bed. I looked at the paper and I saw that she had drawn a family, it was us..? and had written 'Bye' at the right hand corner of the page with red crayon. "Nice..." I said, a little confused what she meant by that. "Anyways... I was wondering if you wanted to play UNO with me?" I questioned. "Yeess" She jumped with excitement. "Alright wait for me down stairs" I said.

As I was going to my room, I saw a shadow again going towards the kitchen. Holy Sh*t. I mentaly screamed. Not having the guts to go downstairs, I went to my room, ignoring the scary thougts.

I opened the drawer and picked up the stack of UNO cards and went downstairs. When I reached, I saw Carrie standing, with Ruby ofcourse, looking towards the kitchen. "What's wrong?" I asked, tapping my finger on her back. "Oh, Huh? Nothing" She replyed, looking a little startled. "Okkaayy.." I said, turning on my heels and heading to the living room. We sat on the couch and I distributed the cards.

"Yaay! I won, Finally" Carrie exclaimed. "Hahaha! Yup, Finally after 5 rounds" I laughed. "Hello girls!" My dad greeted, entering the house. "Pizza!" Me and Carrie said in unison. We grabbed the boxes and went to the dining table for having our dinner.

Me and mom were sitting on the couch randomly chatting. "So have fun tomorrow with your friends!" Mom said, standing up from the couch. She kissed me goodnight and went to her room.

I took my phone and decided to text my friends.

You: Excited for tomorrow!
Tim: Yeah! Gonna have an awesome weekend!
You: ;D
Rosaria: Alright then, seeya tomorrow byeee and goodnight!!
Tim: Goodnight! :)
Mariana: Night!
You: Bye! Sleep tight :D Don't let the bed bugs bite you!! :p
Nate: Byeee! Sweet dreams..

I switched my phone to silent mode and headed upstairs.

As I was climbing I saw a shadow going in Carrie's room. I thoughg it would mom so I didn't bother to go there, or you can say I was scared eheh. I was closing the door when I saw that the shadow again passing by my room.
