Nightmare

"Bye Mom, Bye Care!" I waved goodbye. I waited for Dad to take the car out from the garage. I sat on the passenger seat, wearing my seat belt. "Done" I said.

It took us about 15-20 minutes to reach there. I saw Nate and Rosaria talking and so was Cody and Mariana, Tim was on his phone, probably playing games. I hugged my dad good bye and got out of the car. I reached there and greeted everyone, "Hey! Am I late?" I asked, feeling a little embarassed. "Nope! You're on time!" Tim said. I gave small smile and we all headed to the beach.

Luckily we had bought volleyball ball and there was a net too, so we decided to play. Cody and Nate were the captins. Rosaria and Mariana were in Nate's team and Tim and me were in Cody's team.

We played volleyball, ate some ice-cream, and had fun swimming on the beach. It was getting late so I called Dad to pick me up. I saw my car arrive, so I exchanged hugs and headed towards my car. "So how ws your day?" Dad asked, as soon as I entered the car. "Oh it was awesome, we played volleyball, at ice cream and we swam around a little" I informed.

We reached home and I headed straight to my room for taking a shower. I closed my eyes and thought about the creepy things happened last week. I'm just probably overthinking... it's probably just my mind...yeah! I thought to my self. As I rinsed my hair, I felt a swoosh passing by me, sending chills down my spine. I opened my eyes and there was nothing.... I ignored all the scary thoughts and changed into sweat pants and t-shirt.

It was almost dinner time, so I went downstairs. As soon as I reached, I heard mom saying "She usualy does not sleep walk, but she has been last week and I know it's normal but I'm a little worried..." "I understand honey, but we'll just observe for a while..." My dad suggested. I waited for a while, and then entered. Dad gave me a smile and said, "Hey". "Hi" I replyed. "I heared you had a great day" mom said, giving me a quick hug. "Yeah it was awesome!" I said, giving a thumbs up.

Mom told me that Carrie is a little sick so I serevd her dinner in bed. I ate dinner with to give her company. "So, how are you feeling?" I asked. "Good! But Ruby has been really mean to me" She sadly spoke. I was not suprised by her answer, she usualy does that. "Okay, um.. Carrie, you're growing up and I think you should stop talking to toys and blame everything on them.." I said, seriously. "I know Noelle! But Ruby said that she wouldn't go away until she gets rid of us" She said. I chocked on my food when I heared that. What does she mean by 'getting rid of us' I thought. Ugh! Overthinking again... I facepalmed. "Okay.." I said, trying my best not to freak out.

My mom asked me to sleep with Carrie beacuse she has been sleep walking and she gets nightmares too.

I switched off the lightes and quitely lied on the bed next to Carrie. I saw Carrie sleeping peacfuly. She looked adorable. I gave her a quick kiss on the forehead and went to sleep. After a few minutes of rolling on the bed I was finally able to sleep. But unfortunately I was woken up by some loud noise.

I woke up with my eyes wide open in shock. I quickly got out of bed and saw that Carrie was sleep walking. She was trying to get out of the room but the door was locked. I walked her back to bed and looked after her until she sleeps.

She was asleep and so was I. But while sleeping I got this horrific dream...

"You can do this Carrie, you are a strong girl..." I said, tears welling up in my eyes. Carrie replyed my with a weak smile. I talked to her until she went to sleep. After a few minutes, the nurse said that I have to leave this room and sleep in the room for visiters. So I headed there and saw my mom sitting there gazing at the stars. As I went closer to her I realised she was crying. I gave her big hug and said, "Mom, don't worry she'll be just fine..." "I hope soo" She let out a sob. We then went to sleep.

I wasn't able to sleep the whole night, so I decided to go to Carrie. I walked to the ward and saw Carrie, sitting on the bed, her head burried in her knees, rocking back and forth. "Carrie, are you alright?" I worried. All she did was look at me, and I when I took a closer look I noticed scars in her face. I rushed towards her and asked, "Who did this? And when?". She pointed straight. I turned my head to see Ruby smiling creeply. "How is that even possible?" I asked, shocked. All of a sudden the tublight started to crack and, boom, darkness took over the room. I hugged Carrie because she was shivering from fear. "It's fine, don't cry" I rubbed her arm. I looked around to see if there is any source of light. I searched in drawers and found a torch which doctors use for checking your eyes and mouth. As I flashed it on Carrie's face I saw that her, and blood was dripping from her nose and bruises over her face. She screamed in pain, and startred to cry in panick. I heared footsteps coming towards me and so I flashed the torch toward that direction. I saw Ruby standing there with a peice of sharp glass in her hand. She was about to stab me with it...

"Gaaahhh" I yelled. I calmed myself down a little. I heard a banging sound, my eyes snapped towards the door and I realised it was Carrie sleepwalking again. I groaned in annoyance and heleped get her back to bed.
