"I'm sorry, fight me? What do you mean by that?" Midoriya asked.
"I never got to face off against you in the sports festival because..." Bakugou stopped.
Midoriya could see him struggling to force the words out of himself.
"I lost to half and half. Something that I thought would never be the case. I never got to have that final showdown that I promised to you. So I want to know if I'm still strong enough to even compete in the game with you. That's why I'm asking you... No, I'm challenging you to fight me!" He exclaimed.
Midoriya had flashbacks to when they were first years. Bakugou, once he found out about the secret of One For All, he would make sure that Midoriya would keep training up to the point where he could surpass him. Now it seems that Bakugou wants to catch back up to him or see if he can even make a come back to all that he's grown.
"Alright." Midoriya said.
"So you accept the challenge?" Bakugou asked.
"Not entirely."
"What? Why not? I only want to see if I still am as capable to fight you. Why won't you accept my challenge?"
"Do you remember what happened last time we did this?" Midoriya asked.
Bakugou's face expression instantly changed.
"I don't think we are going to want to get into trouble this close to graduation. I think it would be better if we go and ask Mr. Aizawa for permission to fight this time."
"Why? He is just going to decline and say we have other things to be doing." Bakugou questioned.
"We should still ask anyway."
"Tsk. Fine" Bakugou retorted.

"So, you two want to have a final rematch between each other to see if Bakugou can still compete with you?"
"Yes, Sir." Midoriya replied.
"Bakugou, what is this going to prove? You are already stronger than most pro heroes. Why does it matter if Midoriya can beat you?" Aizawa asked.
"It matters because I made a promise back when we were first years. I promised to Deku that I would surpass him no matter what it took. I was going to face off during the sports festival, but I lost to Todoroki, I was enraged at myself to lose at the likes of him. But I was more disappointed to not being able to finally settle the score with Deku."
"Hrm." Mr. Aizawa muttered.
"I think this could be a great opportunity." A familiar voice said entering the room.
"P-Principal Nezu." Midoriya stuttered out.
"Were you listening this entire time?" Aizawa asked.
"Precisely. I can see where Bakugou is trying to go with his claim. He wants to be at the same level or even higher than Midoriya when it comes to physical strength. However there are some problems with your request to have a final duel." He said.
"What, what do you mean problems?" Bakugou said angered and confused.
"Calm down Kacchan." Midoriya said.
"The problems don't rely fall upon grades or past records but rather..."
"Rather what?" Bakugou questioned.
"Your power itself." Nezu explained.
"The hell is that supposed to mean? You think we are too weak or something." Bakugou began to yell.
