The sound of distant rumbling could be heard. She peered out the window to see most of the city in a blaze of hell. There were screams that could be heard even despite them being far away and through another building. The sky was black with orange pillars of fire trapped beneath it all.
"Hurry up Inko, we have to get to the safety shelter quickly before it fills up. It's only about two miles down the road. If we hurry we will be safe and then the heroes won't need to worry about us and can help put these criminals back in jail." Hisashi told his wife.
"I know, I just need to grab a few more things." She called out to her husband as he was already to leave. She took her medications and some legal files and set them in her suitcase, zipped it up and headed to the front door when another huge shockwave hit their building and shattered the windows and knocked out the power.
"Inko, are you alright?" Hisashi shouted.
"Yes, honey I am fine. Let's get out of here fast. Whatever is coming closer will surely take down this whole complex in one move.
The two of them hurried down the stairs and began to make a run for the shelter. Hisashi saw cars in flames piled up in the streets. Houses in shambles, roads reduced to rubble. The sounds of screams and cries for help grew louder as they were now outside and the smoke grew thick. Hisashi turned around to see his partner struggling to keep up.
"Inko, what's wrong; are you hurt?" He asked frantically.
"No no, I'm just not in the same shape I used to be." She said out of breath.
Hisashi took the bag and suitcase from her to to take some weight off of her. He then grabbed her hand and helped her move forward faster.
"Do you think Izuku is okay?" She questioned.
He stopped in his tracks and faced his wife and smiled.
"Our boy went from being a little child with little strength at all to now having more power than I ever thought was possible. So yes, I think he is just fine. I know he is out right now helping others who need it the most. So let's keep moving so he won't need to worry about us." He replied.
She nodded her head and continued on when suddenly a loud boom could be heard from behind them as it knocked them on the ground. Dust and debris were kicked up into the air as they were pelted with cinders and little shards of glass.
"Inko, where are you? Are you okay?" Hisashi called out.
"I'm here!" She yelled.
Hisashi saw his wife and ran over to help her up.
"What was that?" She asked.
"I have no clue but it wasn't good."
The dust cleared as they saw there once tall apartment building now laying upon a pile of destruction.
"It's gone..." Inko said as her eyes began to tear up.
"We still have each other so let's keep moving."
They began to run from the disaster once more but were stopped shortly after by a voice.
"Hey, you two, do you know where the emergency shelter is." Said a man as he slowly approached them through the thick walls of dust.
"It's about one mile down the road; I can show you where the entrance is but you have to hurry it might close soon." Hisashi called out.
"Don't wait for me, I won't take long at all." He called out as he began to cackle in laughter.
The dust around the area was blown away as the man could be seen more clearly. He had a straight jacket on and was missing an eye. Suddenly muscle fibers ripped through his straight jacket and shrouded his body making him bigger. He now towered four feet taller than his original height.
