THE ENCOUNTER

 

Cassy's POV

The party's still on the way to its peak when I arrived in Republiq.

I came here 30 minutes earlier because I want to drink alone. I want peace of mind. Which of course, I surely will not achieve when those morons and bitches come. I grinned mentally. I have way more than crazy friends.

"Tequila, please." I said to the bar tender as I sat on one the bar's high stools.

Looking around, para akong isda na ibinalik sa dagat.

'This was my life even before, when I was a student, and it has almost completely changed ngayong nagtatrabaho na ako.' I grinned by the thought that came to mind. Well I toned down from being the wild-party-girl-Cassandra. I smiled bitterly mentally, reminiscing what I was before.

I was still deep with my thought, waiting for my drink, when someone approached me.

"Hi miss." Said the voice behind me. Typical greeting when a guy's trying to pick up a girl. I shook my head mentally. Wala na ba talagang original ngayon?

I turned my head and I saw a grinning guy.

Well, he's not that bad.

He's handsome actually.

Dirty blonde.

Gray eyes.

Sexy lips, I think?

And a nice jaw.

Great build.

Must be 6 feet tall.

All in all, yummy.

 

Di na masama. I grinned wickedly in my head.

He looks decent naman and he's obviously picking me up.

And why not naman diba?

"Hello." I replied with a smile.

A smile which I know, can turn him on.

"Are you alone?" Tanong niya sabay upo sa tabi ko.

"What do you think?" I smiled flirtatiously which made him grin widely.

"Can I buy you a drink? What do you—-" Naputol yung sasabihin niya nung ibinigay sa akin ng bartender yung order kong tequilla kanina.

"Oh." He said glancing at my drink and back at me. He ordered one for himself also then he faced me with a bright smile in his face. He's actually good-looking. One of those boy-next-door type. Others would surely address him as "A lion dressed as a lamb." Because, seriously – guys in the club are no good boys.
