Cassy's POV

I really thank God for making me busy these last few weeks. Yes, it's been weeks, and since then, I am being this workaholic woman. I just chose to not stress myself with the incident weeks ago and think that it didn't even happen. It was hard at first. But then I started getting used to it again.

I sighed. I was so engrossed signing proposals when the intercom rang.

"Ma'am a certain Mr. Martin of Corazon Holdings is in line 2. He's very persistent to talk to you, saying it's about business and it's confidential that you should be the one he'd talk to, rather than me". Halata ang pagka-irita sa boses ng sekretarya ko.

I frowned.

Martin?

I am not that well-acquainted with the Martin. I only know one Martin and that's my friend, Keith Martin. And Keith's a food magnate.

Corazon Holdings is more on the telecommunication sector. I wonder what business this certain Mr. Martin would like to talk about. Maybe they want to advertise their telecommunication business. It's not bad to work with them being the country's top-billing telecom company.

"It's okay Rheena." I told my secretary.

I picked up line 2.

"Cassandra Ruiz, yes?" sagot ko sa telepono.

"Oh hello Cassy!"

Cassy and not Ms. Ruiz?

Uminit bigla ang ulo ko. I have a feeling that the business this person's talking about is some kind of monkey business.

"What do you want from me Mr. Martin. I don't talk to people unless it concerns my business and you're wasting my very precious time so get straight to the point." Pasuplada kong sabi.

"Don't you remember me?" The voice on the other line asked, amused.

The voice sounded so manly and cool.

"If you're some DOM trying to ask me to be his whore then you picked the wrong woman mister." I hissed. Hindi ako nagpatibag. Maraming naloloko sa mga boses boses na yan.

The man on the other line laughed.

Iniinsulto ba ako ng isang to? I frowned.

I was about to give him a taste of my precious mouth nung magsalita siya.

"Eika it's me Kyle." He said chuckling na nagpalaki sa mata ko.

"What? Who?" I snapped at him.
