(Y/n):
Wes pulled up on a dirt path, just like you would pull up on the side of a road, there were trees on top of the parking space and all around, I couldn't recognize where we were.

Wes: We're here.
Y/n: This is nice, what are we going to do here?
Wes: I know it doesn't look like much, but walking around is extremely peaceful, come on, let's go!

(Y/n):
As soon as I got out of the car I got hit by dry weather, my lips got dry and my clothes felt hot.

Wes: Hey, you okay? You look thirsty. Here, have a sip of my water.

(Y/n):
Wes handed me his water bottle and I chugged the whole thing, I was very dehydrated and I didn't even realize until I drank some.

Wes: Do you know what a sip is?
Y/n: Sorry, I don't go out to places like these much.
Wes: I'm kidding! (He said while laughing) it's okay, I have more water in the back.

(Y/n):
We started walking and 15 minutes in, the path got bumpy.

Wes: This is sorta dangerous so watch your step.

(Y/n):
I was really enjoying our walk, Wes was right, it was very lonely and peaceful out here. I could hear birds, I could see beautiful bugs and I felt free. I was distracted by the blue sky and the sound of the wind, when I almost slipped. Wes managed to grip my hand and saved me from the fall.

Wes: Hey, I'm worried you'll slip here, I'll stay beside you to avoid any accidents.

(Y/n):
There was so much on my mind, I still couldn't process me being beside Wes, let alone being in the middle of nowhere with him. After I almost hurt myself, Wes didn't let go of my arm, he was holding me tightly and I felt safe.

(Wes):
We walked 2 hours total, and as we were making our way back I could tell y/n was giving up on walking, she was tired and it was getting late. I didn't know what to do since the car was far away so I suggested taking a break under a tree.

(Y/n):
Wes told me to sit down in a nice place with shade, no sun hitting directly, right under a tree. My knees were hurting, my body was sore and I was close to getting a sun burn, but sitting down felt great. He sat down beside me and we relaxed for a bit, he was completely fine, I guess he was used to walking for long periods of time, but he understood I needed to rest.

1 hour later.

Wes: Okay, let's keep going, the sun is going down and we can't afford to have a flashlight with our low phone battery.
Y/n: Why don't we just call someone to come and pick us up?
Wes: Why?
Y/n: Don't get me wrong, I really love the time we're spending together, and this was really nice. I appreciate you taking me here and it's honestly been a very remarkable day, but my body is sore, it's getting dark and we don't have the appropriate equipment to stay here overnight or any longer, I'm also starving and I think that your family and friends might be getting worried.
Wes: Actually, there's no signal.
Y/n: Why didn't you tell me that before?
Wes: Because now I know what I need to do.

(Y/n):
Right after he said that, he picked me up and continued walking.

Y/n: Are you sure you can handle this?
Wes: Would you be surprised if I said this isn't the first time I carried someone down this path?
Y/n: Really?
Wes: No, not this path, but same situation.
Y/n: People get tired often?
Wes: More often than you think.
Y/n: But I drank all your water, and you look tired.
Wes: Hey, please, just let me handle this.
Y/n: Okay.

(Y/n):
This sounds weird but I felt special, the fact that he was doing that for me made my heart melt. He carried me to the car and put me in the passenger's seat.

(Wes):
I felt guilty for taking her out here, I should've considered other factors such as food, weather and physical ability.

Wes: I'm sorry, I should've taken you somewhere else.
Y/n: What do you mean? Wes, I loved this, it's been so long since I've last connected to nature, I got to see so many things up close, I should be thanking you instead of you apologizing.
Wes: Well, I'm glad, but it's time we take you home.

(Y/n):
Wes took me home and took me to my room, he gave me clean clothes to sleep with and set up the shower for me, he also made sure I had everything to go to sleep such as clean sheets, a tooth brush and skin care products. I showered and got ready for bed, when I got out of the bathroom, I saw Wes waiting for me.
