Time works differently in the two different dimensions. While it's been about 3 weeks in the Mha dimension, it's only been 5 days in the real world.
More and more reports were going in the police. Several different countries had at least one person go missing on the day of May 30th. After getting around 40 extremely similar missing person cases from different locations they had to get special agents to investigate it. Their goal was to figure out the connection between the victims. To then figure out why they went missing and how to get them back.
By June 5th, they believed to have found the connection between those who had gone missing, though there were a few outliers confusing those working on the case. The majority of those that went missing had the same career. Streaming video games on either Twitch or YouTube. All of the outliers while not having the same occupation were related to someone who did that had also gone missing.
After discovering their careers the agents were quick to look for any video footage of the many disappearances. Fortunately most had been streaming during their disappearance or they were part of someone else's stream. They watched the clips over and over, all of them being similar. The video became purple and glitchy, you were unable to see anything, but you could hear each and every one of their panicked voices as they were plucked from this dimension. The videos were the only clue they had and they only confused the agents more.
On June 8th, the agents were sent to talk to people they thought might've had information. They had talked to the families of those who were still living with them. They talked to people in their office buildings if they had been streaming there that day. They also talked to apartment neighbors to see if they heard any screaming.
Every bit of questioning led to a dead end and after it all they were no closer to knowing what had happened. People had started believing they were dead and those in the mcyt fandom were struggling to convince themselves that their idols were okay.
Sorry, for the short chapter I'm hoping to make the parts for the sports festival longer. The next part will hopefully be finished soon.
