Minho and his mother had gone home to discuss if they wanted to tell his other friends, while my parents and my sister and I did the same thing.

Soyoung had eventually decided to tell her closest friends from university and her 2 roommates. She was already texting and calling them.

I was thinking about it for a longer time.

If I told only my closest friends, and Minho did too, half of our friends would still have no idea and wonder what was happening.

If only one of us told everyone they would still wonder about the other or even figure it out, but just telling everyone feels wrong.

That's why after a while I called Minho, for this wasn't a decision to be made with my parents. Our stories aren't separate anymore, they have intertwined.

"What do you think?" I asked, after explaining my dilemma.

"I'm stuck too. I've been hiding my past from everyone, but they all need to know. Everyone deserves to know, we have to tell them."

"I know, I know, we can't just drop it into the group chat like that immediately. My girls are still closer to me than the others. I feel like I should talk to them first."

"So, we should talk to our closest friends first before talking to everyone?"

"Yes. They'll all understand."

"They will, but it's hard anyway."

"Yes, oh also, we'll have to explain about why we got so close then too. The whole playing therapists thing. That'll have to be in the big group chat."

"We'll just fill eachother in like usual, right?"

"Yea, that will be easiest. Kay, I'm gonna tell them and I'll call you back after, and then we'll start talking in the 4C hair chat."

"Great, ttyl!"

I heard before he hung up.

I sighed and went upstairs to be alone before I told them.

I opened up the chat. My fingers hesitated, but I started anyway.

My friend told my parents after so many years and we got him arrested and in jail, and then we moved away.
