Since we only moved here a few days ago, not a lot of things were unpacked.
In my room, I had my bed with all its bedsheets and pillows against the wall, my wardrobe on the other side of the room. My desk wasn't fully put together yet, boxes with stuff were everywhere and I had a sad little lightbulb hanging from the ceiling.
During the weekend we had only completely arranged my parents room and now it was my turn. Then lastly my sister would.
Even though the desk was easy to assemble and the drawer I had too, it took a long time to do all the rest. I vacuumed my room and cleaned it as much as was allowed with a wooden floor, then I unpacked most of my stuff and layed a rug on the floor. I took a piece of thread and hung it next to my bed on the wall.
This will be a wall of pictures and poems talking about a new part of my life, a new thread. It sounds cringy like that though but better basic and therapeutic than boring.
Soon though, it was time for dinner. Mom had cooked pasta.
"So, Sora, how was your day?" mom asked.
"It was great, actually. All of my classmates are really kind and funny, I think when I get to know them better it'll be very fun."
She looked relieved, happy that something in her daughter's life was going well.
"Oh, one of my classmates lives right there, in the house across the street."
"Really? So you will go to school together, I assume?"
"Yeah, it would be awkward if we just walked separately."
"Ah okay, anything else?"
"I think I made some friends, so that's cool. Our Geography teacher hates his job, our history teacher is dumb but our English teacher is nice."
Mom chuckled.
The next day, I woke up too early. I had had a weird dream and couldn't fall asleep anymore. Luckily it wasn't a nightmare. It was still dark outside. I washed myself, put on some clothes and checked my phone.
The class groupchat went crazy, it was 6am yet a lot of them were awake.

As a response, I went to my window, took a picture of Minho's window and sent it. He was waving to the camera in the picture.
