"Y/N?" Yoongi walks into the room, rubbing his eyes as he speaks groggily.
"What?"
"Uh, Seokjin wants to know why you're ignoring his texts," he says, holding up his phone, showing you his call log.
Seokjin called him a few times.
You shrug.
This wakes Yoongi up.
You've never a been this nonchalant before. You're always tentative to them.
"Um, well, do you want to sleep with me tonight? I can-"
"No," you cut him off, turning your phone on and scrolling through it.
"Oh, um, okay, I was just- nevermind."
He begins to walk away, scratching his head at your dismissive behavior.
"Say, Yoongi," you begin, not looking up from your phone.
He turns around and looks at you.
"Do you think Catherine is pretty?"
Yoongi chokes on his spit, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.
"U-Uh, you're best friend?"
"Yep."
"Um..." he thinks for a second, "yes? Kind of? I mean-"
"Good to know."
He waits a few seconds for you to say something else, but you don't. You just keep scrolling through your phone.
"G-Goodnight, Y/N."
"Night."
He stares at you for a few more seconds before leaving dejectedly.
"Payback's a bitch, isn't it."

"Hey, Y/N," Jungkook comes walking into the living room, where you watch TV after just taking a shower.
"Sup."
You don't take your eyes off the TV.
He raises an eyebrow at you, shaking his head and laughing.
You pick your phone up off the couch cushion and start scrolling through it.
"Baby," he pouts, sitting down next to you, "why are you ignoring me?"
"I'm talking to you aren't I? That's not ignoring, Jungkook."
His eyes widen. You never call him by his full name.
"Why're you-"
"Hey, Y/N," Jimin comes walking into the room, scrolling through his phone, "Hoseok said he's been texting you and you aren't answering. Is something wrong?"
You knew this, but you chose to ignore him.
"Nope. Just busy."
"Too busy to text your boyfriend back?" Jimin asks, raising an irritated eyebrow at you.
