Shindo found himself back in the dream world yet again. However, this time, he ended up in front of the lime-green castle overlooking Oneirica. His gut told him to go inside no matter what.
He opened the front door and expected a fancy entrance hall. Instead, Ryo Shindo slipped and fell into a void. It felt as though he were going down the world's steepest rollercoaster and never stopping. Shindo looked around for something, anything, but he found himself plummeting into a world of pure darkness.
"How long have I been falling? It feels like forever," Shindo wondered. As soon as he thought that, he managed to land on rocky ground with light blue crystals sticking out in numerous places. Despite falling what felt like thousands of miles, Shindo landed without any injuries. He stood up and noticed that he was on some crystal pathway with no walls or ceiling. The area around him still appeared pitch black. Turning around, he saw the path drop into nothingness.
"I am NOT falling again!" Shindo shouted. He decided to turn around again and walk forward. After five minutes, he reached a cave opening, but without any crystals. As Shindo went into the cave, the area illuminated a faint red.
Suddenly, Toshihiro Kurosawa, the Yume no seirei, appeared right before Shindo without warning.
