Our hands brushed and I looked away. I hate him, why am I blushing? He smirked and pushed his legs against mine. Was he just messing with me?

"Hey what's twelve hundred divided by sixty then add eight?" I ask him.

He wrote out the problem on a piece of scratch paper before answering "Two hundred and six."

"Thanks," I mumble.

"Speak up babe," he looked at me through his lashes. Did I just imagine that?

"W-what?"

"I said speak up, I couldn't hear you." He explains.

"O-oh I just said t-thanks."

He nodded then went back to work. I hate him and he hates me so why did he just call me babe? I was pulled out of my thoughts when Calum tapped on my shoulder.

"Hey man, the teacher wanted me to collect the things," he motions toward the sheets. I handed him mine and Luke did the same.
