a week before christmas

"okay bye thank you again for keeping him" i said avis bestfriend dad

"of course y'all be safe" he said

"thank you" isaiah said as we walked away

we dropped him off to finish sum last minute christmas shopping. since i've been busy i did most of my shopping for everyone online. it was all here already.

blake still paying me daily even tho i'm on holiday break. i got paid hellllaaaa for their annual christmas party. and i actually stayed for this even ... cause of the food duh.

"okay where we going first" i said

"umm ... i wanna get him a chain we going to my jeweler" i said

"umm a chain ... that could be stolen from him hes 5-

"kayla you keep talking to me like ima dummy. it's gon be one of them tiny ones like this" he said pointing to one of the chains he had on

i nodded "my bad just making sure we on the same page" i said trying not to throw up.

"what's wrong" he asked

i shook my head "nothing just not ready to be near all these people in these stores" i lied

"that's why we got up early" he said pulling into the parking lot.

we got out and went inside. i looked around all the stuff was nice but them price tags unt uhh. i could afford it but what for ?

"which one you like" he asked me

"ion know ... this one" i pointed at the gold one

"aight lemme get dat" he said digging in his pants

isaiahs POV

"can you go get my wallet out the car" i said

she thought about it for a second then went.

"okay and then can i get this for her but make it secretive" i said

he nodded quickly getting this pink diamond watch for her. i smiled.

"thanks" i said slipping him the cash for the watch and then paying for the chain.

"preciate you ima catch you later" i said dapping him up

he nodded and we got in the car. she headed to the mall. i been bought her other stuff we was just shopping for avi and mason.

she parked but almost hit they car.

"you not driving no more" i said getting out fast as hell. tired of her tryna kill me

she just laughed catching up to me grabbing my hand. i rolled my eyes playfully as we walked in. shit was flooded

that's where we walked getting a few toys and shit they kept talking about.

after we got those we went to go get sum clothes. he needed more jeans and sweatpants and shit since it was getting cold. i got him sum timbs for the culture.

after we got bags full of clothes we went to the food court.

i sat down with my orange chicken and fried rice. i was happy asl i loved sum chinese food

"you think we did too much" i asked

"no he got like 100 new toys. 10 pair of sneakers a chain ... a whole ass new ipad a nitendo. the fuck else he need" he said
