Chapter 4-The lie
[Done editing]I cleared my voice and started speaking in a high voice. "Well, my fellow sisters and brother are going to the church to pray." Jeez, this is annoying. "Tch, more priests." Was all he said. Armin jumped in,"What he meant was, there are many titans out there," he pointed to the wall. "Aaaaahhh, but, we've been at peace for the past ten years. I'm very they won't break the wall. The garrison branch will handle that!" I felt like exploding from the high-pitch I was speaking in.
I yanked at the reins so the horses would go as soon as possible. Any longer and they could figure out who we are. "Shall we go brother and sisters?" I squealed. They all let out an "Aye!" In agreement. Their voices were adjusted so you couldn't tell it was them.
The horses started trotting to our destination, 'Don't figure out who we are.' I chanted over and over in my head. Beads of sweat made their way down my forehead. My hands were sweaty from nervousness and my breathing wasn't even, due to fright. Stupid fright.
We arrived at Wall Rose's gate, I pulled the reins and steered the horse in between two buildings. "C'mon guys, we're safely hidden here." I told the others. If only that were true, I mean, there is a frickin' Titan army out there!
I heard a rumble from cement, my head-instinctively- turned to the noises source. Crap. A Titan, but it looked different. It wasn't an armor, female, deviant, colossal, or a regular stupid one. How did I know all of those? Let's just thank my mom.
It stood at about 35 meters tall, probably taller. He-I'm guessing- looked like a hybrid between the armor and colossal. Having stone-like plates covering the upper portion of his body. And muscle tissue peaking through, also on it's lower body portion.
"G-guys?" Cassidy managed, we all looked at each other with THAT look. "Is everyone done with changing their gas tanks?" They all gave me a thumbs up-after that-we huddled out from our hiding spot.
"If we die, thanks for going along with this stupid plan." I smiled at my new friends and best friend. "What would you do without me? Weellll, you'd probably be dead." Liya commented, making me giggle.
"Or it could be vice versa." She rolled her eyes. Isaac spoke out, "It was a pleasure fighting by your side, airhead". "You little dipstick!" I quickly retorted, it helps to have experience at arguing. By that I mean, Eren and I have arguments all the time, even if he's older than me.
I, being me, glared daggers at the blonde. This didn't make him waver, but I saw-in his eyes- that he shrank a little. "Jeez, you're a psychopath...", I took that as a compliment. "Why thank you! It runs in the family." I said proudly. He-being dipstick- rolled his eyes at me. "Whatever, dipstick." Yep, that snapped him.
