I Was So Hard To Please [BXB]

Jesse's POV
Unsolvable case file? Open. Coffee? Always. Someone knocks on my door and I say "come in." The FBI Deputy Director opens it and says "agent, theres going to be another agent working along side you on your next mission." I say "who is it?" He says "someone who's new to the game, he's been told this is a trial in a way. If this mission ends terribly because of him, he's gone. He's very sharp and is a hard worker and he will work extremely well with you, I'm sure I won't be disappointed." I say "how much experience does he have?" He says "nothing but training" and I say "why do you give the inexperienced ones to me?!" He says "I hope you don't disappoint" and he walks right out of my office. Great. I mumble "seriously?! I have to deal with basically a kid, probably fresh out of college, still in his college party phase and he won't pay attention to anything I say most likely." He could be one of the best for his age though. Everything's possible but don't get your hopes up, right? I say "he never even told me the mission" groaning as I get up. I leave my office and I catch the Deputy Director just before he goes into his office and I say "whats the mission and who's my second?" He says "you'll find out together and you'll get to work on it together" and I say "you know I work better alone" and he says "this'll be good for you" rolling his eyes and he goes into his office and I huff, going back to mine. I look at the case on my desk saying "why do I even try to solve you anymore?" I move it to the side and hit my head on my desk saying "I'm so tired" and I sit up just boredly drinking my coffee, waiting to be introduced to this guy cause we have to get working on this case soon. I love my office and I go to find Jamie and after about ten minutes I find him and he nods at me saying "hey, hottie, what can I do for you?" I say "hey, getting a new recruit up in here, can you help me out?" He says "you wanna figure out who this guy is?" I say "yeah, do you have any idea who he is?" The Deputy says "you aren't going to find him through people, buddy, he'll be here in ten minutes" and I finish my coffee saying "enough time to get more coffee" yawning. I go to the coffee shop across the street and something I thought I'd never see around here, cute guy, short skirt, hair styled and hitting his mid back, sweater pays and heels. The guy behind the counter, Lee, nods at me like he does every morning, he was talking to the cute guy like they're besties and Lee says "the usual, sir?" I say "indeed" and he says "how's the job?" I say "were getting a new recruit today, with no experience and I have to show him the ropes" and he says "I'm sure you'll be just fine, can't be too bad, right?" I say "right, I guess" and Lee shrugs and he says "so, what are you doing again?" The boy next to me says "I have to get going for an interview kind of thing" and I say "you're cute, here's some advice, don't be too nice or flirt to get into the job" and he says "then how would I get what I want?" I say "exactly" smirking and I get handed my coffee, I pay Lee, give him an extra ten bucks saying "get yourself something nice" and he says "I deserve a coffee" and I chuckle and I hear the cute guy say "I'm changing anyway, I'll get the job" and Lee chuckles. I leave and I go back to my office saying "I'm so screwed, I'm gonna have to find him again, take him out sometime" rubbing my forehead. I leave, sipping my coffee and I go out to the main room to wait. Jamie stands next to me saying "are you nervous?" I say "why would I be nervous?" He says "having to work with someone new when you already don't like working with people on a task." I say "you have good reasoning but no, I'm not nervous" crossing my arms and leaning against his desk. The Deputy Director stands next to me and this kid comes in about a minute later and it's cute guy from the coffee shop and he is wearing completely different clothes, his hair is still where it was though. Skinny black jeans, black tee shirt and converse. The Deputy goes up to him saying "hey, kid, we'll be about ten minutes then I'll give you both the file" and I nod saying "why can't I just have the file now?" Jamie says "teamwork, did you ever watch sponge bob or go to school?" The Deputy says "get back to work, you dork" and Jamie nods saying "yes, sir" and goes back to work on a case he's working on. I just stand around and wait until they come back out of The Deputy's office and they come back about ten minutes later like he said. I sip my coffee and this cute guy comes up to me saying "I'm Brynn" and I shake his hand saying "Jesse, you ready to work?" He says "why would I be here if I wasn't?" I say "you have a point there" and the Deputy hands me the case file and I say "this thing is small" and he says "size doesn't matter" rolling his eyes and I say "I think it does but alright" and Brynn is trying not to laugh, he's young and I took it the wrong way also. I nod in the direction of my office and we go to my office and I say "hows it going?" I sip my coffee as I scan the case file and I say "I hope you're ready for a rich people party in a mansion" and he says "oh god, I'm good, you?" I say "I'm alright" and he says "can I look?" I hand it to him and he looks through it very carefully then looks up at me saying "I have no idea what any of this means" and I chuckle saying "let me see it again, I'll tell you everything."
