Jesse's POV
I get up and I look through my closet looking for a very nice suit that looks double the cost of what it actually was. I fix my scruff so I look more clean cut and I put on a black button up, charcoal gray suit jacket, pants that go with it, a Rolex that I bought myself for my birthday this year with my payday money and what I've been saving forever, boring patterned socks, a belt, a black pocket square and black leather Chelsea boots. I do my hair and I go to the office mumbling "feeling good, feeling good" and I go in and I get a few whistles and I say "oh stop" rolling my eyes. I say "wait till the other one comes in, you'll pass out" and I lean against Jamies desk and he says "I'd do more hours if you came into work looking like this everyday" and I say "this took an hour, no way in hell, I'm gonna keep coming into work like I belong behind bars here, not behind a desk." We laugh and he says "same" chuckling and the Deputy comes in and says "well don't you look great?" I say "thank you" chuckling and we stand around for a bit then Brynn comes in, sexy red dress, black heels, nails done, hair curled, bracelets, makeup, a couple rings and earrings. I bite my lip saying "damn" and Brynn stands in front of me, chuckling and he says "can I take the pass of being fashionably late?" I say "yes, of course" and Jamie says "I don't think Jesse is doing too great, can I go instead?" I say "you're funny" poking his chest and the Deputy says "don't know how you're going to carry this but this is yours" handing him a glock twenty two and he hands me one too saying "this ones from your desk" and I say "I know." We chuckle and he puts it in a thigh holster and he says "I'll tell you the story in a minute" and I say "alright" chuckling and Deputy says "you may go" and we go to leave and a girl goes up to him saying "how do you get your waists like that, it's great." Brynn says "woman's waist cinchers work for everyone" and they chuckle and she says "thank you, I really need something to help me" and we chuckle and we leave. I say "you look beautiful" and he blushes saying "stop it, what's the plan?" I say "to get a hotel right near the house incase we'll need it and then go to the party" and he says "what do you mean by need it or not?" I say "we don't know when were going to get this guy, could be tomorrow" and he says "well, even if we aren't there tomorrow then we could still use it" biting his lip and looking at me through his long eye lashes. I smirk saying "we'll see" and I kiss his knuckles and he says "is that a Rolex?" I say "yeah, took me forever to buy, could've gotten another house instead" and we laugh and his laugh is just lighter and beautiful, I can tell he feels more comfortable looking like this than how he does on a daily. He says "it's shiny, careful mafia boys don't steal it from you" and I chuckle saying "I'll be fine" and he says "I was going to tell you the story of this stupid thigh holster" and we chuckle and he says "I had to ask my mom for it cause I didn't buy myself one, it was weird." I chuckle saying "that does sound weird" and he says "I called her while I was a doing my hair and I was like hey, mom, do you have a thigh holster I can wear with a dress and she asked why then I said cause I got a carrying license and she actually brought it to my house" laughing and I laugh saying "I'd love to meet your mom. She seems interesting." Brynn says "she is" chuckling and we get to the hotel, we get our room keys and he says "carry it for me" when I get back to the car. I chuckle saying "alright" and we go to this party and Brynn puts the visor down on his side and he fixes his hair and I put the twenty two in my back waistband and I say "you ready?" He nods and I put my wallet in my back pocket with my badge in it and we go to the front door and he mumbles "I'm definitely passing as a chick tonight" and I chuckle mumbling "mmm, you're my date, that's what were going with" wrapping my arm around his waist. He nods saying "ok" quietly and I say "Jesse" to the bodyguard looking guy and he says "on the list" and I nod and we go in. We find this bar and we go up to it and I say "can I get whiskey on the rocks?" The bartender looks at my man and Brynn lightly says "can I get a mojito?" The guy nods saying "coming right up" and he just pours for me then starts making Brynns drink. Brynn mumbles "fancy drinks for fancy woman" and we chuckle and we get handed our drinks. I say "cheers" and Brynn shyly says "cheers" clinking our glasses together and we go to mingle just casually, occasionally getting hit on and we come back together, getting another drink about half an hour later. He mumbles "I'm so tired already and the guy isn't even here yet is he?" I say "nope, wake up, just chill for a bit" and the guy comes down the stairs and people clap and he laughs and starts talking to people. I mumble "now we have him" and Brynn mumbles "and all ten people are still alive" looking around and I mumble "yup" counting everyone under my breath. I mumble "I'm gonna go upstairs and look around, go make conversation with him if you can" and Brynn nods saying "if I need you, you better come find me" and I mumble "I will" kissing his cheek and he blushes and I go upstairs. I hear a muffled screaming and I pull a gun and I try to open the door I hear the noise from and its locked and I mumble "key. Brynn" and I put the gun in my back waistband and I go downstairs and I go over to him and he's making small talk with a guy and I mumble "Bobby pin" and he gives me one discreetly and I go back upstairs and I pick the lock.
