I was yelling at the top of my lungs running as fast as I could. The ax guy was right behind me or at least close to me I could hear his footsteps. I was trying my best to chase after the ambulance I was a good 5 feet behind them
They just left me. No. Josh did. He saw me he looked back and didn't do anything.
"BRO PLEASE I CANT KEEP RUNNING IM NOT A TRACKSTAR"
She a runner she a trackstar she gon run away when it gets hard. Why i'm i joking at a time like this i'm going to die.
Simons POV
We could hear screaming coming from the outside. Opening the door I could see (Y/N) running from the guy.
"Run faster! I'll pull you in" I yelled to her
"IM FUCKING TRYING"
I turned to Deena and told her to tell Kate to slow down a bit. As the car slowed down (Y/N) upped her speed a bit and I grasped her hand but as I did the ax guy got closer as well. She stuck her hand out trying to reach me. As soon as she got close enough I grasped her hand pulling her in but I just wasn't strong enough. Deena came back and helped me grabbing (Y/N)s other hand.
"On the count of three." Deena said
"1" "2" "3"
Pulling (Y/N)s hands as much as I could trying to get her in the ambulance with the help of Deena. She flew into the ambulance knocking me down and landing on me in the process. While Deena quickly closed the doors of the ambulance.
(Y/N)s POV
"Oh my fucking god. I thought I was gonna die." I said taking a deep breath between every word. Looking out the windows of the moving car I could see the Ax guy was no where to be found. Taking a seat to catch my breath.
"So where you just gonna leave me there?" I whispered looking at Josh
"I didn't know what to do. I panicked." He replied
"Yea sure. More importantly who the fuck was that" I said
"That was the Camp Nightwing Killer." Josh answered
"That was a bust" Kate answered still driving
"Yeah, maybe because it's not like the movies. Ok. It's not as easy as putting bones to rest!" Deena yelled
"It should've worked. It always works" Simon replied
"We didn't have all her bones. Her missing hand." I spoke
"Who gives a shit? It doesn't matter. How do I not die" Kate yelled
"We! How do we not die" I yelled back
"I'm looking at you, witch nerd" Simon said at Josh
"I don't know!" Josh exclaimed
"They're not coming for us. They're coming for me." Sam spoke up
"What?" Deena said
"I saw her again. The witch. She... I disturbed her grave. She wants me."
"Yeah. Nightwing ran right by (Y/N) and I jumped out of his way, it was like he didn't even see me. He went for her." Josh explained
"Then why did Ruby attack Simon, Nightwing chased (Y/N), and Skull mask came after us at home and while you guys where babysitting!" Deena spoke trying to reason with us
The ambulance came to a halt and Kate climbed to the back with the rest of us.
"No, he didn't. Skull mask didn't care about us. He wanted this. Sams blood." Kate explained opening Simons jacket to reveal Sam blood all over it. Then she pointed to my jeans which had little speckles of Sams blood on it.
When the fuck did that get there
"What the fuck" Deena whispered
"Yeah!" Simon exclaimed tapping my shoulder
"From the crash. Remember when Sam puked period on me and then she got hit when she ducked the ax and it got on you! It's Jaws, dude! A shark smelling blood. Kates right! When we found skeletor, He was all sniffy and weird with the laundry like a perv in a panther shop!"
"Yeah, but he came to our house too!" Deena tried to fight back
"Deena your fucking shoes have blood on them too!" I said pointing out the blood stains on her shoes
"Sam bled on her bones, now the witch wants more of her blood!" Simon exclaimed
"Ok, so what do they do in Jaws?" Sam said
"I'm pretty sure they didn't go in the sea with fucking blood on them. You're basically bait!" I replied looking at Sam
"She's not bait" Deena yelled looking at me
"Yeah. She is. Seriously, if we're right and they're after her. Let's give these assholes what they want." Josh said looking at Sam
"I have a plan but we have to get to the school" He continued
"Ok let's go." Kate said while heading to the drivers seat again. I moved to go sit in the passenger side. As she started the car.
"Do you think we're going to die?" Kate said in a whisper keeping her eyes on the road.
Probably
"No. As long as we stick together we'll be okay." I responded
"But you almost died back there. I thought you were dead."
"Me? Ha, I would never leave you here alone to deal with my brother."
"Don't leave me. Promise me." Kate said while sticking her pinkie out and looking at me. It was a red light so we wouldn't die
I can't do that.
"I promise." I said wrapping my pinkie around her. I pulled my hand away and used my other to grab her cheek. Rubbing her cheek with my thumb I leaned in closer from my seat.
"I would never leave you" I whispered to her looking in her eyes. Which caused her to lean in as well.
Closing the gap between our lips I was taking in the moment trying imprint it in my brain not knowing if this would be the last time I would kiss her.
