I looked at the clock on the dashboard, it was already one in the morning, I don't even remember if we were still in California or are now in Arizona.

The only light that pierced the darkness in the car was the light from the dashboard and the headlights outside as the only songs that killing the silence was the same song that I've been playing over and over for about 100 times or was it something from Adelita way, All Time Low? FUCK!

I felt a tap on my shoulder and I just brushed it off, it happened several times, where I had to focus on driving. I looked into the rearview mirror to see that Wentworth was wide awake and looking at me through the mirror.

"How long have you've been awake for," he said as he looked at me, and what's probably my fifth bottle of Gatorade.

I sheepishly looked away from the mirror as I looked to the open road, as the sun was slowly beginning to rise in front of us.

"Maybe an hour or two or even 10 hours"

Wentworth crossed his arms as he looked at me where I  slowly looked back at the open road.

"When's breakfast"

Dylan then took his shades off as it's now 8 in the morning as he slowly began to stretch out his arms.

"Never, Rule #3, no breakfast!" I said.

"We can either have lunch, tea, or dinner, but mostly, dinner!"

"That's a joke, we're eating something" Dylan protested.

"I'm dead and serious," I said as I kept my foot onto the gas pedal, concentrating on the horizon as the sun rose up into the sky.

"God, what is wrong with you guys," said Paul as he slowly woke up, with the commotion.

"Landon is trying to starve us," Wentworth said,

"Plus kidnapping us"

"I never forced or invited you to come, you just invited yourself here!" I said.

"Yeah to get away from all of it, and just going AWOL isn't going to be any better:

"I'm not going to have this discussion with any of you," I said as I tried to control my emotions because the last thing we need is the car to crash.

"Now shut up and just let me concentrate"

My eyes grew heavy as I tried to concentrate on the road as I feel my body was about to shut down with the lack of sleep. I began to grab the bottle of Gatorade as I felt a cold hand stopping me from grabbing the bottle.

"Landon, we need food, not Gatorade, REAL food"

I took a sigh as I looked at them, I made a beeline to one to one of the pits stops into one of the stations on the side.

We all got out of the car as Paul and Dylan had gone with Wentworth to get their daily fill of caffeine and breakfast as they rushed into the building, to see if there was anything, restaurants, food truck, that were open at 7 in the morning.

I looked at the trio as they rushed for food, I'll never get why people feed breakfast.

I took a breath of the cool morning air feeling the warm sunshine onto skin as I looked over the distance.

"So where are we exactly," Joseph asked as he looked at his phone.

"The Grand Canyon, I think"

I pointed over the Horizon as I leaned against the hood of the car where Joseph joined me as he looked towards the Horizon.
