Chapter 45 "One Last Fight"

"Shut up! Will you-"

"No, you shut up!"

The living room was filled with laughter as Yeonjun chased Beomgyu, lifting up his shoe as they ran around the couches like little kids. They had been messing with each other, not caring about the world outside as they enjoyed the moment.

They had a nice dinner together with Mrs. Huening, delicious and healthy foods were served, and had a small feast as a celebration for them reuniting once again.

Kai would steal glances as he prevented himself from smiling every time he spotted Y/n laughing together with the others. It melted his heart, giving him the feeling that he had been craving for months. He felt so happy just by watching her eat and listen attentively to the conversation.

It was a fun talk and silly mini games when they were in the living room after dinner as Mrs. Huening excused herself. Yeonjun and Beomgyu never stopped running around and ended up pulling Kai and Soobin into their stupid game.

"Please stop," Kylla dramatically said as she wiped away her fake tear after laughing so hard. She can't believe that her oppas and unnies were like this.

"Can't believe I'm friends with these motherfuckers-" Taehyun didn't even finished his words when he got pulled up as well.

"Tyun, help me! This pig is going to kill me!" Beomgyu begged as he hid himself behind Taehyun.

Yeonjun stopped and pointed his shoe at the two, "How dare you call me a pig when I'm this handsome. I'm going to kill you!"

Kaliyah and Saegi were at the corner of the couch, questioning themselves how the fuck they fell in love with such childish scumbags.

The fight continued as the girls tried to calm them down, which didn't even give a single halt. Lucky for the girls, Mrs. Huening came down again and the boys instantly stopped from bickering.

"Can I speak with you, boys?" The mother asked with a smile.

Y/n suddenly found it strange for Mrs. Huening to come down again and call them when she already said that she would be heading to bed after giving last commands to the house maids.

"Of course, Mom." Kai replied as he signalled the boys to follow him.

Kai went to Y/n and leaned down to place a kiss on her left cheek, making her flustered as she was being pulled out of her thoughts. She could even see Kylla and Saegi teaming up to give her a teasing smirk.

"We'll be right back," Kai gave her a reassuring smile before he went out towards the back door and out onto the driveway together with his Mom and his friends.

As they went out, Kai could hear his mother sighing and Taehyun nudged him from the side, giving him a look.

Kai just shrugged, silently telling Taehyun that he had no idea why his mother suddenly summoned them and made them follow her down the second driveway.

Their estate had two driveways, one was at the front. Connecting the main gates and directly to the garage and the entrance of the house. The second driveway was at the back, connecting the garden, the green house and the emergency gates.

That was where they saw Xiu Hiro, coming out of a van and he bowed at them. Kai nodded as Hiro joined the other guards in securing the place. Kai didn't hesitate to ask his mother right away.

"What's the matter, Mom?"

Mrs. Huening turned around and faced them. She took something out of her pocket and raised it up for them to observe. It was a small circular device with pointed corners which clawed some sort of a fabric of someone's clothes.
