Chapter 13 "Final Answer"

Days passed.

The results of their exams are up on the board and everyone is crowding the main building's front office.

But these two girls decided to have a walk on the school field as the sun slowly sets down.

"Finally! Exams are over!" Saegi, who was walking beside Y/n, exclaimed.

Y/n just smiled weakly as she looked up on the sky. Their exams are finally over, yet she felt like her whole brain was still occupied by some stressful things.

Her friend noticed it and then asked. "Ey, are you okay?"

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine." She answered. "Just thinking about something."

"Something? Or someone?" Saegi teases as she elbowed her friend. It made Y/n laugh a little.

"Stop it, Saeg." She tried to be angry but a smile always appeared on her face.

"Oooooh, I know that smile! Tell me, is it about Hueningkai oppa? Hm?" Saegi leaned closer as she tickled her friend.

"Yah! Stop it!!" Y/n moved away and nodded. "Yes. Yes. You are right."

"Waah! Finally!" Saegi giggled as she stopped infront of Y/n, making her stop too. She held both if Y/n's hands and said. "Listen, Kai oppa has changed. He is far different from the old him! I can see it in his eyes. The way he chases you and looks at you, is full of care and love. I heard also from Beomgyu oppa that he stopped dating other girls because of you."

What tf, what?

"Uhh, Saeg? I said that I am thinking about him because of his offer, not because I like him or what, duh?"

Saegi's smile disappeared. She just misunderstood it. "Oh, okay. I thought you like him."

"No? I mean, I don't know. I love Jinnho." Y/n retorted. Doubt could be heard on her voice.

"Then what about the things that you've told me?" Saegi asked with furrowed brows. "You told me that everytime you saw him, everytime he is around, everytime you made an eye contact with him, everytime he does some simple move, your heart keeps beating like a drum. Your heart rate increases with those mixed emotions you've explained to me."

Y/n looked away, getting afraid that she might listen to her own bizarre thoughts.

"You keep saying that you love Jinnho. But your actions says otherwise. I can see it. Look, if you are planning to agree on that contract, you must listen to your own feelings. You have to give Hueningkai oppa and yourself a chance. Nothing will work if you continue on being blind in this situation. You will regret everything, because soon, you will marry him. And if you don't have feelings for him, even a single spark, then you will both end up filing a divorce paper."

Y/n couldn't answer anymore so Saegi continued. "I care about you, Y/n. You're a very great friend to me. I just want to help you and to see you having a happy smile on your face everyday."

Y/n slightly nodded, showing that he understood her friend. They continued on walking while Y/n kept on apologizing before another topic popped up.

"Yah, did you remember what you said when I told you everything about our date?"

"That Beomgyu oppa really changed and it can be seen in his actions?"

"That's right. And it's happening to Hueningkai oppa, too." Saegi clarifies.
