Chapter 09

In the end, Jun have to pay for three of their meals.

His sister came to the mall with her friends, she left with them before Jun & Han... Leaving the bills on him...

Later, Jun & Han also left the shopping mall...

To go back to the apartment, Jun waited at the bus stop. This month he can't effort a cab anymore. Han sitting beside him. Few people are waiting at the bus stop except them.

One man, wearing black ripped jeans, a black jacket, a black hat, black mask were staring at Han; standing leaning with the road lamp. Han noticed that & felt scared. He moved closer to Jun.

Jun gets annoyed, pushing him away, "What the hell is wrong with you! Stay far from me!" He scolds him.

"But-" Han wants to tell him.

"Just stay away!" Jun moved his face away.

Pouting, Han moved a bit far from Jun...

The bus arrived. Jun entered the bus first, Han followed him. Getting into the bus Jun took the seat of the last row. Usually, Han sat beside him.

That man also took his seat beside Han... There was one sit gap between them...

Han kept closer with Jun, which made Jun annoyed & push him away again.

After about some time, Han felt something is pocking his thigh... He moved his eyes & saw that man beside him is sitting straight but his hand is over his pants pocket, he is holding a blade.

"Master !!! He is cutting my pant!!!" Han cried out in horror; catching Jun's attention... As there was only three of them & driver on the bus...

The man panicked & while trying to move the blade he ended up cutting his hand.

After hearing that, Jun's action was first. Standing up from sit, Jun looked at the man beside Han holding a blade.

Greeting his teeth together, Jun grabbed the man's collar made him stand up... Han moved to the corner, afraid...

"How dare you to touch him!!" Jun punched this guy, holding his collar by one hand.

Jun punched him several times... Until the man's nose bleeds...

"How dare to harass him!!! I will give you to the police!!!"

The man was on the floor, he looked up, "I didn't harass your boyfriend! I am a thief! Not gay!" He shouts back...

Jun leaves his collar & stand up from over him, dumbfounded... What he thought, and what it turns into...

Taking this chance that thief jumps down by the window from the moving bus...

Jun for a while kept silent... Then he looked back at Han, the scared Mr. kitten sitting in the corner...

Jun sighs, and sat beside him, "Alright. He was just cutting your pat's pocket to get some money from there... It's alright... He is gone..." He pats over his head.

Jun just feel very dumb for thinking something like that...

Finally, they reached the bus stop near his apartment. Getting down from the bus, they started walking. This time Han was holding half bags & Jun another half...

Clearing throat, "Did you see Mr Kitten, how thief tries to steal things from you? Always be careful with your pockets, ok?"

Han nods, "ok..." Voice is lowered than usual...

"What happened? Are you still afraid?"

Han nods in the negative, "I am sleepy." He yawns...

Jun chuckles, "Such a kitten..." He mumbles.

Reaching in front of his apartment, he saw a familiar face... His girlfriend is standing in front of the gate...

It's been months since she last picks up his calls...

Jun's girlfriend also noticed Jun, she waited for him to catch up with her.

When Jun gets near to her, she gave a polite smile, "Hello Jun... Long time no see..."

Jun frowned, "What happened to you? Why aren't you picking up my calls for months! I was about to visit your office!" He seems worried.

She lowered her head, then lifting her gaze moved at Han, "Who is he, Jun?"

Jun looked at Han, who is standing beside him, "My roommate... Zhehan..." He then hands the bags of his hand to Han, "Here take them & go to the room... I will come after some time... The key is inside the red bag..."

Han looked at that lady, he seems annoyed by her... But didn't said anything & headed inside the building.

After Han left.

"Hum... Now answer me what happened to you?" Jun stands with his arm crossed.

She put forward the box to Jun, making him frown. He remembers this box. He gifted her an expensive pendant inside this box on her birthday two years ago and made a promise with each other to stay together forever.

Frowning, "What does this mean?!" Jun is anxious.

"Jun, I want to break up with you..."

Jun just kept silent... They are dating since high school, what happened now that she wants to break up?

With a poker face, "Why?"

"I love someone else Jun... I met him one year ago & started dating him... I tried to tell you but... Can't gather enough courage... I am sorry Jun for not being able to keep up our promises... Please take it back..." She put forward the pendant again.

After a few moments of silence, Jun smiles, "It's ok... You are happy & that's enough... You don't have to give it back, just keep it... Keep it as a friend's gift... And don't feel regretful... I wish you happiness..."

She felt relieved, "You are a great person Jun... I thought you will not accept it... But you accept it so easily... Thank you, Jun..."

"Don't mention it..." Jun said with a smiling face.

After she left, Jun entered the building & sat down on the stairs...

Hides his face behind his hands... He just kept sitting there in silence...
