Every pack needs a girl

Prologue

This was written 6 years ago and so isn't amazing, please don't judge it too harshly :'D

This is written from three points of view; Sky, Xavier and Erik

Sky

My paws thudded to the ground as I let my animal instincts take over, running through the woods I was able to dodge the trees sensing their positions, a river, I leaped into it cooling my fur whilst the sun blazed overhead, this was only the second time I had phased and yet It felt as natural as slipping off a coat.

I caught a scent - it was unlike anything I had smelt before, even with my heightened senses I froze hearing rustling to my left as a person, male, protruded wearing only tattered jeans and stared at me in disbelief.

Feeling my instincts screaming 'danger' I became alert, he could not see me phase back.

I jumped from the river letting out a menacing growl in his direction and raced off back to my garden and the hole in the hedge where I left my clothes.

Erik

I began to walk to Julian's house at the far edge of the wood when I heard something, tuning into the sound I followed it to the river, crouched behind a bush I watched as a gorgeous white wolf appeared and began to cool off in the river - he was bigger than any wolf I had ever seen before but at the same time so much more graceful.

Who was it? there weren't anymore descendants around this area so it had to be stray, a traveller, a threat? coming out from my hiding place I stood before the bush, the white wolf saw me and within seconds growled a warning directed at me before speeding off in the opposite direction.

I contemplated phasing and going after him myself but thought better of it, there was no way of knowing how powerful he was. I turned and began running to Julian's to inform him of the new threat.
