Erik

I watched as his hood fell revealling a mass of beautiful blond curls which fell into place around his - I mean her, face, she looked up at me a little frightened with her bright green eyes as I spoke,

"She's my mate" I knew it was true from the second we saw her flinging herself off the cliff, why else would I have so willingly followed after her?

"She is still an intruder" Julian said bluntly, "She cannot get off scotch free" I new he was trying to hide his shock as the rest of the pack had been unable to do, for female werewolves were extinct. There was only a legend of the white wolf, the last of her kind, who would fufill the prophecy.

Sky

Staring up scared I tried to reason with myself, I don't have a mate, I don't need anyone - I can take care of myself.

"She is still an intruder" The leader said, "She cannot get off scotch free"

Eep! I thought, okay maybe a teensy bit of help right about now would be good,

"Put her back in the cellar, we must convene in my chambers and decide what we do with her" The leader said turning

"What we do with my mate  you mean Julian" The gorgeous guy said firmly turning to smile happily at me.

"May I be so fortunate as to know your name?" he asked

"Sky" I replied simply, through no fault of my own my face smiled back at him, hmm.. maybe it wouldn't be so bad having a mate - especially a hot one like.. er.. that dude over there.

No! what am I thinking, attatchments make you weak, and when your a wolf you can't afford weakness else you will be killed...My poor father had died defending me, the only one who knew my true identity until I stumbled upon this pack.

I found myself grabbed and dragged towards the stairs again, I began shouting at them but before I could even lash out I felt them torn away from me and a growl sounded through the room silencing everyone, it was my mate, he had pulled them off of me, "Are you okay?" he asked a little panicked,

"Yeah, Uh, I'm good - just keep those thugs from constantly dragging me about and I'll be better, I do have legs you know" he recoiled a little from the harshness of my tone "Sorry, I don't mean to be rude" I said not wanting to see him hurt as for some reason it seemed to make me a little upset also

"Back off guys" he growled at the approaching thugs "I'll walk her down there then meet you back in Julian's chambers" huh so the boss was Julian, I made a mental note and began descending the stairs returning to my little box/chair at the far left, "I'm so sorry, it's just precautions, you know how wolves can be" he said apologetically,

"Well actually I have never met another person like me" I said automatically, he looked shocked,

"What about your father ?" he replied astounded

"No, my mother died at my birth and my father was killed protecting me from people who came for me knowing what I am" I said sadly remembering that fateful night and turned away not wanting him to see any tears that were bound to form.

Erik

"No, my mother died at my birth and my father was killed protecting me from people who came for me knowing what I am" she then turned away showing me I wasn't going to get anything else from her.

So she had people after her, that sounds about right what with being the female wolf from the prophecy and all, and that legendary wolf was my mate, I felt so lucky but then sorry for at the same time she had never met another wolf, I couldn't imagine having to go through the changes on my own, I had most of the pack there either going through it also or being there for me.
