Part 8

3rd person pov

It was the day of the party. Deku and Kiri had been hanging out with a lot of the class recently so this wasn't very different, but they were both a bit nervous to see everyone at the same time, especially two people in particular. If you didn't count Bakugou's feeble attempts to get Kiri's attention, they hadn't spoken to Bakugou or Uraraka since that night. Uraraka was completely ignoring them as if nothing had happened. But tonight things would change. 

As they walked together to the common rooms, thoughts were running wild in Izuku's head. Today he would finally face Uraraka. He was nervous but as he looked to his right and saw Kirishima walking beside him, there was a sudden burst of courage in his chest. Kiri had become one of his closest friends in the past few weeks, and Midoriya felt like he could do anything as long as he was by his side. They arrived and turned to the people gathered in front of them. 

"Deku, Kiri, over here." Mina called to them from a blanket spread out on the floor. The party was nothing crazy, but made all the more special by the people. There was a folding table of snacks and Jirou had brought out one of her speakers for music. Most of the class was sitting on the couches or blankets on the floor like Mina. They were all just talking and hanging out. 

Kirishima and Izuku started to walk toward Mina and the others but someone's leg got in the way and Deku tipped over it, falling face first on the floor. "I'm sorry-" He started to say but stopped suddenly when he saw who it was.

"WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING EXTRA-" Bakugou looked up and there was an awkward silence as they stared at each other.

"C'mon Izuku, lets go." Kiri stated not even sparing a glance at Bakugou's blank face. He grabbed Deku's arm and pulled him along. "Hey Mina! Love the party, do you have anything in particular planned for tonight?" 

"Well, I was thinking that we could maybe play some games like never have I ever or truth or dare," Mina said with an innocent look. "I know it sounds lame but it could be really fun! Besides, then I'll get all the tea I want- Oh and Denki convinced Jirou to play some stuff for us on one of her instruments as long as it was just casual playing."

"That sounds great, if not a little noisy." Kiri said with a half smile. 

"It's just a bit of fun! Don't you agree Deku? This will be an awesome party and maybe some people will finally take a hint and by the end of the night we might even have a new couple in the clas-" Sero, having sat down next to Mina a few moments earlier, choose this moment to slap his hand over her mouth.

"Mina shhh. Hey Midoriya, hey Kiri."

"Hey Sero," They both responded.

A little while later, after Denki accidentally almost killed Mina with his lightning, Mineta had been taped to the wall by Sero more than once, and Iida fainted because of all the chaos, it was time to play some games.

Whoever decided to put Mina in charge had lost their shit. She had sat everyone in a circle in possibly the dumbest seating arrangement possible. Midoriya sat next to Uraraka on his right and Bakugou on his left with Kiri to the left of Bakugou. Why did Mina have to do this?

"Alright everybody listen up," Mina said into the megaphone that Momo had made her. "We are going to start with truth or dare. The person asking t or d can choose whoever they want. Only one question/dare aloud per turn. And those are the only rules, let the mayhem begin!"
