Part 9

"Sero truth or dare?"

"Hmm dare I guess." 

"I dare you to tell us the biggest lie you've ever told."

"Kami bro why would you do this to me?" Sero exclaimed feigning hysteria.

"Mina isn't the only one who wants to dig up some dirt on people."

"Kaminari I think that's the smartest thing you've ever said-" Mina was cut off by Kami sneezing. "Oh you dumb bitch. Sero lets just continue."

"I guess one of the biggest lies I've ever told was probably back in middle school when I snuck out to see my friends. Looking back it's not that big of a deal, but in the moment it totally was."

"Ugh I need spicy tea. Hm lets make things a bit more interesting." Mina went over to whisper something into Sero's ear. 

"I have a feeling that this isn't going to end as you plan Mina."

"Sero I could expose you so bad right now babes(not a ship in this book)."

"Okay okay I'm doing it. Midoryia truth or dare?"

"U-um, truth?" Midoriya said hesitantly.

"Okay Midobro, what is your honest opinion on Uraraka right now?" The room was quiet.

"Um...I guess shes my friend? I feel pretty h-hurt by her actions but there's really nothing I can do about it, even if i still love a bit her." Uraraka looked away from Deku but Kiri did the exact opposite. He looked...jealous? There was no way Kiri was jealous of Deku. Did Kiri like Uraraka now? Wait this gave Deku an idea.

"Um, Kiri truth or d-dare?"

"Truth this time. Bring it at me Midobabe." Huh? WHATDIDHESAYYYY? No one else seemed to notice but Bakugou, who suddenly looked like he wanted to kill someone. 

"Um..do you like Uraraka?" The room was once again silent as if awaiting an answer.

"Midoriya...I'm gay. Besides even if I wasn't, I would never in a million years like that- i mean her." Uraraka looked very offended after Kiri stopped speaking. But for Deku, it felt like a weight had been lifted off of his chest. He wondered to himself why it meant so much to him.

"My turn to ask! Bakugou, truth or dare?" 

"Psh, I'm not a loser. Dare."

"I dare you to tell me the truth about why you cheated on me." Mina was getting all the tea she wanted tonight. 

"Shitty hair..."

"Don't call me that. Answer the question. I want to know."

"I don't.. I can't tell you that."

"Answer. The. Question."

"I'm leaving this lame party." He got up and slouched away.

"Bakugou Katsuki, if you walk out of here there is not a single chance that I will even consider forgiving you." He just kept walking.

After things had calmed down a bit, the class started to play again. This went on for a while with much mellower questions this time. Nobody mentioned Bakugou, not even Uraraka, although nobody paid much attention to her either. 

Deku had almost fallen asleep on Kirishima's shoulder when he heard his name. Aaand it was Mina.

"Deku truth or dare?"

"Oh, dare." Mina squealed and Midoriya instantly regretted his decision. "On second thought."

"No going back Midoriya! I dare you to kiss your crush if you have one." Deku's face turned bright red and he stammered his words.

"I c-can't Mina I-I don't t-think I should." 

"C'mon Midoriya, kero." Tsyu said and the rest of the class joined in chanting.

"F-fine." Midoriya sat up with his tomato red face and squirmed under the pressure of all his classmates. Then he slowly turned around, and so fast so that it was almost unnoticeable even with all eyes on him, pecked Kirishima on the cheek.

"Huh?" Kiri sat there with a shocked look on his face, then slowly turned an even redder shade than Deku. Their classmates cheered (with the exception of Uraraka) in the background. 

"U-um I'm sorry, I've gotta gay." Midoriya ran off leaving the red haired boy with hardly any time to react. 

"W-wait Midoriya!" Kirishima called after him. "Mina thanks for inviting us, but I've gotta go after him."

"Go get yo mans Kiri."

He ran off in the direction to Deku's dorm, his mind racing. Did that really just happen? It was so soon after his break up, but now this small broccoli boy was making his heart race again. He knocked on the door but heard nothing. "Midoriya?"

"EEP! DON'T COME IN."

"Too late." Kiri stood there helplessly, staring at Midoriya curled up in the all might blanket on his bed. "Can we do that over?"

"K-kiri I'm so sorry for what happened back out there."

"I'm not. Can we do it over?" 

"Do what over?" Almost before the words made it out of his mouth, Kiri was across the room and their lips collided. Deku couldn't register what was happening. But the moment took over and there was only Kiri and him. He felt like he was floating on clouds. It was the best feeling in the world.

Their lips finally parted after what felt like years but somehow not long enough, never long enough. 

"Wow." he whispered into the night.
