The pain under my knees wakes me up. My arms are on the edge of my bed while the rest of my body is on the floor. My neck screams in agony when I stretch it to the opposite side it was laying on. A whimper leaves my lips as I stand up, only to fall back on my bed.
The memories from yesterday start coming back and to block them out, I bite my lip until it bleeds to distract myself. The pain and burn coming from my lips is just temporary. I need to find a permanent one soon. I can't let myself do this any longer.
