I would first like to say that this story went the complete OPPOSITE direction that i thought it was going to go originally. However, that does not mean i was disappointed...well..

okay, no, for real-i really liked this book, like, i don't hate the main character which i usually tend to in most books for some reason like idk.

He's a pretty swell guy and the other man in the relationship is cool too, but i did picture Lloyd to look WELL different, like, i thought of him as like an Ezra from Enemies with Benefits.

I usually either really dislike the mc or the main love interest but i really liked both. even the friend.

seriously tho, fuck the ending, like what. like fr bitch what, excuse me, heLLO? I know you aren't dumb as fuck but come ON. who makes an ending like that, i was so sad, i had tears streaming down my face, and it completely took me by surprise.
i can say i hated the ending and it's a bad book, but it really isn't.

SPOILERS OVER

the chemistry was phenomenal and i never thought in my mind that anything was off, and their dynamic was beautiful too. i love the diversity in characters and not every is the same, also, who tf names their character "Lloyd"? like i've never heard that name, only "Eloy" and that's why i love it.

the title really fits the book, it's about possession- i feel like that'll make more sense once you finish it.

it's well written, and the chapter names are nice too, all in all, great book. highly recommend to people who like steamy and funny books. wish there was a pt. 2.

my ratings

the story 8.5/10
the title 20/10
the writing 10/10
the characters 9.5/10
