Calum's POV

The bell has just rung and I'm already on my feet, ready to leave my Biology class. Who knew dissecting an animal's heart would be so boring?

I walk through the busy hallway, wanting to get to my English class when my body is suddenly tugged to the side because I accidentally bumped someone's shoulder.

I turn around to see the blonde guy from choir, Luke I think he's called, looking over his shoulder at me before he stops walking. "Sorry, mate." I shrug but the guy turns completely towards me and approaches, making me stop walking as well.

"Watch where you're going, mate." He spits out the word 'mate' as he pushes my shoulders backwards. I furrow my eyebrows at him confusedly.

"Do you have problems?" I take a few steps towards him and he slightly towers over me, but I'm not intimidated.

"I think you're the one who's got problems." Luke spats out with a slight smirk on his face. "I'm not the one who's got disorders."

"How the hell is that any of your business?!" I push his chest strongly and he flies a few inches backwards. His eyes darken and his jaw clenches as he hurries towards me with his clenched fist.

"Don't fucking push me." Luke says through gritted teeth and all I see next is his fist flying right into my left cheek. My head turns left from the power of the hit but I instantly look back at Luke, swinging my fist into his direction and hitting him right back in the face.

He puts a finger on his lip and sees the blood that's dripping on it and his face furrows even more, ready to punch me again when a loud and annoying whistle is heard throughout the whole hallway.

I look around and notice the whole school has made a circle with me and Luke inside, watching our little show. On the head of the circle was Coleman and his face was as read as a tomato.

"Hood!!" He yells. "Hemmings!! If you're so fond of each other then you can hang out today in ISS!" Coleman writes our names in his annoying notebook and starts walking past me. "Hemmings, you should get your face checked. Hood, your cheek is swallowing as well." He adds on and then leaves through the circle of students.

I look over my shoulder at Luke furiously because I can't believe I've just earned another attention just because of him. He's looking at me with the same annoyance in his eyes and for a second I think I might as well punch him again but then I hear someone calling me.

"Hey! Calum!" Hannia's voice brings my attention so I turn around to find her worried, big brown eyes staring at me. Her eyes travel quickly all over my face and I just peacefully examine her. "Oh God, come with me." She says and grabs my wrist, leading me through the crowd of teenagers and probably to the nurse.

"What happened?" Hannia asks when the nurse is done putting ice on my cheek.

"I don't know, I accidentally bumped him and he completely lost it." I laugh slightly as I come down from the nursery bed. Hannia stands up from the chair she was sitting on as well.

"You're lucky you don't feel anything, I think this would hurt like hell." Hannia puts her palm on my cheek and I trace the path from her eyes to her wrist that is next to my jaw. I grit my teeth because I can't feel the gentle touch of hers on my cheek.

"It would've gotten worse if you didn't find me." I sigh and she laughs.

"Then I'll just have to be with you all the time to prevent you from killing yourself." Hannia jokes as her eyes sparkle.

"What did your mum say once I left?" I ask, remembering I didn't call her like I said I would. "I would've called you but Michael and I went cliff jumping and I was so exhausted I forgot." I apologize, hoping she'll understand.
