"Okay, so, tell me about you." I take a sip of my neon colored frozen drink as I nod towards Hannia. She taps her fingers on the colorful, plastic table that only amusement parks own and looks up in the sky.
"Well, I'm not an adventurous type of person as you've probably realized by now." She laughs as she looks at the huge spinning wheels and all sorts of roller coasters we haven't gone to.
"And you probably didn't want to go to a boring frozen drink with this awful dude with a huge cut on his forehead as your victory celebration?" I end the explanation for her and she stares at me for a second before bursting into laughter.
"I didn't have that in mind, that's true." She agrees, smiling widely. "How about you? What do you like doing?" She then changes the subject to me and I switch in my seat, thinking about what I could tell her.
"There's not much to know about me. I like to do adrenalin stuff but that usually gets me in trouble. Also, I ditch school a lot which led me to being in the detention anyway. That's where I am 80% of the time." I shrug nonchalantly and Hannia laughs.
"So do you hate singing or something? Why did they put you in the choir anyway?" Hannia props her chin on her palm and makes an adorable face, even though I'm not sure she's aware of it.
"I don't know why, but no, I don't necessarily hate singing. I just don't like sharing that with strangers." I lean back in my chair and cross my arms, smiling.
"Why did you tell me then?" She copies my actions and slightly kicks me under the table, surprising me.
"Maybe I don't want you to be a stranger."
"That's fair."
"Are you done with your drink?" I ask, looking at her almost empty plastic bottle of slushy and ready to go find something in this place we can actually go to.
"Yeah, I can just take it with me." She nods and we both stand up, me paying for the drinks after I successfully talk Hannia into her not paying for hers.
We walk down from the small terrace we were sitting on and join the crowd of people that are walking in all directions.
"So, you're afraid of heights and you don't like adrenalin... Looks like the Tunnel of love is all we've got left." I peek down at Hannia and she blushes, nudging me with her elbow gently.
"I thought this was a celebration, not a date." She states and I have to stop and think about an excuse for a second.
"It can be both. We can celebrate that we've met." I try but my attempt is horrible, which makes Hannia chuckle.
Her laugh is cute. It's high pitched, but not the annoying type. It's the adorable one that makes you smile even when you don't feel like it.
"Alright, but you can't try any moves on me." Hannia points her finger at me and I put my hands in the air, acting surprised.
"I'm a good boy!" I defend and we both laugh as we continue walking towards the Tunnel of love.
We stand in the queue for a few minutes but it's not too crowded so it's quickly our turn to go. We sit in our seats and the ride slowly starts going forwards, Hannia catching my arm once the wheels start turning forwards.
"Okay, I have a question." I state when Hannia lets go of my arm and crosses hers over her chest.
"Yeah?" She looks at me and smiles sweetly.
"What are you afraid of? Give me the full list." I laugh and Hannia's cheeks get a dark red color.
"I seem like I'm scared of everything, don't I?" She asks shyly, making me make a sympathetic face. "Well, I'm afraid of heights, deep water, bugs, horses, clowns, pitch dark and complete silence." She counts her fears, putting out one finger for each one.
