After Y/n walked away her face flushed red in embarrassment. "Stupid. Stupid. You should have waited until after school I can't believe I did that. Now she's gonna think in weird." Y/n mumbled to herself a now dark aura surrounding her.
"Hey Y/......" A voice cut off once they saw the sulking female. "Uh, Y/n? Are you okay?!" The sound of Y/n's friend Niki sounded through the halls in a worried voice.
Niki had brown hair with green eyes. They used they and them pronouns so no one really knows whether to call them miss or sir, Niki has the body of a female but usually, wears baggy clothes to hide their curves and to look more masculine but at the same time to make it where they aren't too masculine. Niki has been best friends with Y/n ever since she had started school. Niki was also the only one who understood why Y/n was always so nervous around people.

"Y/n...is someone bullying you? Why are you so red are you sick do I need to bring you to the hospital?!" Niki shouted in concern bringing unwanted attention to the two. "Niki! Calm down it's nothing really I just returned someone's wallet and got a little nervous." whispered the e/c girl.
The first-year students around them murmured a bit about how Y/n's hair looked different from everyone else's. "What are you looking at? Shoo get to class, you dimwits!" Niki waved the first years off but it didn't seem to work. "First years always seem to think so highly of themselves." They said annoyed. "Niki it's fine really I'm used to it." Y/n smiled at her friend who reciprocated the gesture. That is until the prince Yuki and Princess Y/n club shouted at the murmuring first years. "That's our cue to go." Sweat dropped Niki as they pulled their friend away from the shouting group. "Wait! Y/n!" Shouted Mitsuhide as he tried reaching for the girl but ultimately, failed.
Once the two lost the group they walked to their home ec class that they had both Tohru and Yuki in. "Yuki!" Y/n was glad to see him since she hadn't seen him ever since they walked to school. She ran up to him and hugged him. "Hi." her voice muffled as she rubbed her face in his shirt. He chuckled at this and reciprocated the hug. "Hello, to you too. Oh and Hi Niki." It took him a while but he eventually started calling Niki by their first name instead of their last name.
"Hi, Yuki. It's good to see you I forgot to ask but I was thinking of some ideas for the festival that's coming up." Yuki had a gleam in his eyes once he heard this. "I'd like to hear about it." He was always quite fond of Niki, dare Y/n say that he might even have a crush on her dear friend.
Tohru had been staring in awe as she saw how the three communicated so easily. "Their waves are strange." Hanajima says. "They seem like such good friends!" Tohru comments with a smile adorning her face.
