"You know, you never told me the story behind this locket..." Mira said in barely a whisper, as Yuzuru's eyes toughened at the sight.

"That's because I didn't know you had seen this." He said coldly, but his eyes were soft, turning to Mira, a pleading look in his gaze.

"Then tell me. What had happened?" She said, worried about her loved one.

Yuzuru had a mental battle in his head the moment Mira asked him this question.

He had trusted her with all his pain, all his doubts and all his mental scars. Could Mira bear one more hurtful event of his life?

"Just tell me, Yuzu. Trust me. Remember what you had told me, back at the rink?" She spoke softly, knowing how to handle his outburst.

"I do. I asked you to share each day, each night, each morning of my life with you. Both of my past one and my present one..."

Yuzuru spoke with a soft smile, looking down at Mira lovingly as he remembered the sweet moments he had spent with her, back at the Sendai Rink.

"Then share it, Yuzu. Share your past with me." Mira said almost pleadingly, and Yuzuru nodded, mostly to himself, squeezing Mira's hand softly.

"I will."

September 20, Year 1995, SENDAI

I sighed in front of the whitewashed grave. It had been so long since I had came here again.

In front of the grave, a silver plaque wrote:

1955-1989
Dazai Kuwashi, loved father, husband and Coach.
-
"The ones who always wait are the ones who eternally sufffer."

Those words were a constant reminder to me, ever since I was a child, to always catch any opportunity in my way.

Especially when it was about skating, dad constantly said that any chance we had, we should take it.

I followed his words ever since I started skating competitively. I always remembered him very dearly, even while I skated.

He was the only one who gave me a chance to begin a life with a goal, with a purpose, with a meaning.

Every time I came here at the past, I would cry my eyes out, having the consolation of my older sister by my side.

But right now, no tears were shed. I had no more time to waste; I had to realise the things he dreamt that I would become.

And Yuzuru, has only helped me at that.

As if he is the ghost of my own father, as if my father's inspiration was transacted to him...

As if my father sent me an Angel...

"So, ladies, at exactly two weeks from now, there will be the October Skating Event here at our rink, just before the Regionals."

"I have announced the pairs and the team skate on the board, as well as the Ladies Single Skate of the Event." Coach Miyamoto said and threw an intense look at all of us.

"You may go check them out girls, but don't interrupt other skaters." She said with a small smile on her face, and urged us to do so.
