Chapter 12: The Battle At The Gym

Savannah's POV

Wow. I had no idea Adam was so strong! I was always stronger than him, but now he is stronger than me. I smirked. He looked over and smiled. He walked over to the wall and pressed the button. A bunch of training equipment came out and he finished it in 10 seconds. I smiled. I looked over to Cole. Wow I forgot he was here. I looked at him and I could tell he was jealous because I could see it in his eyes. "Savannah, I guess you liked my performance huh? I guess I left you speechless." Adam teases. I roll my eyes and he laughs. Cole moves uneasily. Then he hesitates before going to the course and stands in running stance. I get surprised at first but then I nod for approval. He nodded back and ran toward the course. He tried jumping like Adam but failed. He slammed into one of the panel things then slammed into others, spun around, slipped on the dummies, and got hit by the barrels that pop out of the ground and ended up flying towards the roof. He stuck on the roof for a while then fell down onto the ground with a thud. I ran over to him quickly and he was face flat onto the ground. "OMG! ARE YOU OK??!!" I ask him. I wait then he finally nods. He looks up but I don't see any scratch or cut. Hmmmm..... I was about to help him up when a giant machine breaks into the gym. Dust and cement fly everywhere and the impact was so hard that I flew into a wall. I looked up and saw Adam on the floor with his face down on the floor. I groaned as the pain seeped in. when I looked at the machine I saw a man in a black ninja suit. He had a helmet with a bone and a purple belt on. Then it dawns on me. GARMADON??!! WHAT THE HECK IS HE DOING HERE??!! He hops out of the machine, looks around at the damage and smiles evilly. Ughhh I HATE HIM!! He is Lloyd's dad but he is soo evil! Sensei told us about him and I was surprised when she told us he was her brother. I literally shrieked! He walks over to Cole, picks him up by the chest with one of his hands, and says something roughly. Cole looks scared then he answers quietly. I can't hear anything and I don't know why. Garmadon drops Cole like he was a lifeless body. Then he walks over to me. He smirks and he picks me up like he did with Cole. He glares at me. "So, I have Intel that you know where my brother is staying, along with his students, your sisters, and my sister, am I right?" he says coldly. I don't say anything, which makes him VERY angry. Finally I speak up, "How would I know? I ran away a few months ago." I lie. He takes this into consideration but then he looks at me angrily. "No you didn't, because you are loyal to your teacher and would never leave her, correct?" he says like he is the smartest person here. Guilt crosses my face and then he smiles because he knows that I lied. He brings me in closer. " I am not trying to make this hard so just tell me where they are hiding and I wont hurt your little friends, ok?" he says. I shake my head. "You will never get me to talk. Sensei taught me better than that! I would never tell you where my family is so you can go and hurt them!" I shout and kick him in the stomach. He drops me and bends over in pain. I smirk. He regains quickly and the battle is on. He tries to catch me off guard but I make it hard to. He jumps from my punches so I decided to use my bending. I make some rocks come out of the earth but he still dodges them. How? Then I remembered: he is an earth elemental too. I remembered that he has all the elements just like Sensei and Wu, but his are unbalanced. Oh no! My bending wont work on him. I keep trying but every rock I throw he redirects back to me. I keep dodging them and we keep at it. I hear a moan behind me and I turn to see Adam waking up. I try to run over to him but a rock hits me in my side. I groan and fall to the floor. I let my guard off. Garmadon comes over and puts his foot on me and I can see he is smiling victoriously. I groan even more. Then suddenly I don't feel his weight on me anymore. Its like he isn't on me anymore. I look up to see Adam on top of Garmadon, pinning him to the ground. But then Garmadon overpowers him and Adam gets thrown to the floor but gets up quickly. They circle each other and finally go in for the blow. They are fighting and jumping around. Adam tries his bending but it doesn't work. He gets shot into a wall. I gasp then I hear the door to the gym slam open I look to see Makenna and Lily. They look shocked but then get into fighting position. I sigh in relief. The start fighting Garmadon while I survey the room. The damage is horrible. The walls are cracked and there are bits of broken equipment and wall everywhere. Cole is laying on the floor out cold and Adam is against the wall unconscious. I finally feel the strength to get up when I see Makenna on the floor injured and Lily right next to her. I get up and feel a little pain but I manage to shrug it off. Garmadon looks at me and smirks evilly. "So glad you could join us Savannah!" he says happily? I trudge over to him and get in my fighting stance but with one kick he pins me to the wall. I give up. He smiles. "I knew you were a quitter. You always were. All of you are quitters and with this," he says holding up and amulet, "I will rule Ninjago and none of you can stop me!" he says then throws back his head and laughs menacingly. I finally just loose it and something in my feels like it caught on fire. I feel so strong that I push Garmadon off me and run to him. He runs away into his metal machine. Metal huh? I run to him and use my element and rip his machine up since it has trances of earth in it. I rip it up and he falls out. I walk heavily towards him and anger fills up inside of me. Look what he did to my friends. My family! He sees that I am very mad and he looks scared. I smirk. "What's wrong Mr. I-Am-Going-To-Rule-Ninjago? Are you scared that I can metal bend? Hm? Well looks like you ran out of water. You don't have any fire and no earth either so Whatcha gonna do?" I say angrily. I am about to punch him hard when my arm stops half way. I can't move my arm!! I can see Garmadon smiling. I HATE HIS SMILE! I suddenly worry. "What did you do to me? Why cant I move my arm?" I ask worridly. He just kept smiling. Then the truth sinks in. "oh no!" I say quietly. This makes his smile grow more. 'Oh yes! It is true Savannah! I can move your blood." He says, still smiling. I stare back, scared. He looks like he is enjoying this. Then suddenly I feel like I am levitating when I look down and I realize I am like, 5 ft off the ground. I look at him in horror. " Miss Savannah, what can you do know? You have no crew, no strength, and no plan." He says. Then he slams me into the wall and I groan. He smiles more. Then he slams me to the roof and finally into the floor. I lie there on the floor and he walks over. He leans in. "Savannah, you and your friends better not get in my way, or else trouble will brew." He says then hops into his broken machine and flies out. I feel dizzy and I black out.

Adam's POV

I see Savannah on the floor out cold, as well as her sisters and the boy that met us here. I get up and feel sharp pains in my back. I ignore them and walk to Savannah. I kneel down and pick her up. By now I see everyone is awake. "Everyone we must go to Sensei and tell her this." I say and everyone nods. I grab Savannah and run to the dojo. I get there in short time and don't even bother ringing the doorbell. I kick the door open and see Marissa, Wu, and 4 boys along with a girl. They look up surprised then they see Savannah in my arms. They see the others and Marissa and the girl walk over and stare in horror at the wounds on Savannah. She has a gash on he forehead, cheek, and a long scar down the side of her head that ends at her chin. She has cuts and bruises on her arms and legs. Marissa picks her out of my arms and rushes her to a room. The others get up and help Makenna, Lily, the boy that was with us, and me. The usher us into separate rooms and tells us to wait. The girl comes in and I get a good look at her. She has black, short hair and Green eyes. She is wearing a red kimono and a red bracelet. She smiles politely. "Hi, my name is Nya. Don't worry, I will get you cleaned up and Marissa or Sensei Wu will come in to help you." She cleaned my wounds with one of those alcohol pads, which burned like crazy, then sat me in bed. "Is Savannah ok?" I ask hopefully. I can see some guilt over her happy face but then she walks out of the room without one word.
