Pokemon Journeys: Avery's Adventure Begins..

A mysterious fairy forest!

Avery was playing with Fennekin and Ralts till Goh and Ash ran in slamming the door shut "Guys?" She looked up to the two with panicked expressions "This women! She said she's from Bollonlea! She said 'Give me that Avery girl and her fairy types NOW'" Ash said doing his best old women impression

"..do you mean Opal?" Avery looked awkwardly at the two "Mhm! Wait how do you know who she is?" Goh glared at her making Avery wave her hands in panic "No reason! Just old friends haha!" Avery rubbed the back of her neck embarrassed till Pikachu grabbed a flyer off her desk.

"Fairy type bootcamp? Hey why didnt you tell us about this?!" Ash held the flyer in his and Goh's face. "I didnt think you'd be here to find out, I didnt actually expect Opal to come pick me up either" Avery mumbled as Hattrem made her way over. "Wait, What about your other pokemon? They arent fairy types so are you just gonna leave them here?" Goh asked as Pikachu went up to Fennekin "I didnt think about that actually..I'm sure you both can look after them!" Avery turned to the boys making them look surprised "Nuh-uh! We're going with you." Goh defended 

"you need a fairy type to come." Avery picked up Ralts "I'll catch one!" Goh smiled "and Ash?" Avery turned to the raven haired boy, He was deep in thought "think about it on the way then" Avery opened the door and Opal was there standing blankly making Avery jump back

Avery was sipping tea as the Professor and Opal were talking. "Heh, Avery snores sometimes so be warned if your gonna make her be roommates with anyone" Goh teased "I do not! I am a very quiet sleeper." Avery defended sipping her tea "Hm, She wont be staying for more then a day so no need to worry." Opal sipped from the cup that she brung herself. "Uh, Opal, We were hoping to come aswell.." Ash asked finishing his food 

"Do you have a fairy type?" Opal asked, Side-eying Ash making him looked worried. "Not exactly but—" Ash started "You can do the training, Just not any of the particular fairy type gym leader training" Opal revealed the actual boot camps reason "Thats not what it said! You lied!" Avery put her tea down, Pointing to Opal "What do you think the bootcamp was for?" Opal stood up and grabbed a bag "Now, Chop chop we dont have all day to get to Galar." Opal clapped making Avery stand up quickly and grab Ralts's pokeball

When the three got there, Goh had sent out a red Flabebe. Ralts was ready to start the training but Ash was just standing there awkwardly "Opal, Why are we waiting?" Avery asked after some silence. "Im waiting for you to put the uniform on." Opal replied handing them the fairy type uniform, "What about Ash? If he isnt doing the training then—" Goh started "He will be lighting up the mushrooms in Glimwood Tangle." Opal finished walking away dragging Ash.

"Do you think he'll be okay?" Goh asked "Im sure he'll be fine" Avery said walking away to get changed

"Okay, Ralts. Use swift!" Avery ordered and Ralts finally knocked down the Morgrem winning the battle. She turned around to face Opal who was judging the battle on the stage, "That was very good. Better then another student i had, Perhaps i will give you this Eevee then" Opal stood up and a Sylveon walked up as a gift to Avery, When Opal made her way over Sylveon stared up to Avery before going and playing with Ralts.

"I can tell that Ralts is going to be strong" Opal stared at Ralts jumping around Sylveon "You should go battle with Sylveon, Get to know each other." Opal looked back at her, "Oh— Uhm, Okay" Avery looked shocked for a second before running out with Ralts and Sylveon

Ash, Goh, Raboot and Pikachu were running around, Nudging each mushroom lighting up the forest till he hears footsteps. "Hello?!" Goh called out nervously. Suddenly a Sylveon walked out and Avery followed with Ralts in her arms "Im here to help you, Opal finished the training early because i think she found someone else." She shrugged "Oh, Okay! You go light some up aswell!" Ash ordered and Avery nudged a pink mushroom, Suddenly a Morgrem jumped out ready to attack

"Sylve!" Sylveon jumped infront of Avery ready to attack. Morgrem went out of his stance and had heart eyes. Morgrem ran up putting an arm around Sylveon "Mor, Morgrem grem, Mor mor mor! Morgreee!" Morgrem pointed out different places till Sylveon jumped back and used swift "Syl!" Sylveon growled

Morgrem wasnt pleased and whistled calling out some Impidimp to surround the two fairy types. Sylveon looked around "Sylveons cute charm must of activated!" Goh realised "If you want to battle then lets do it! Sylveon use retaliate!" Avery ordered and Sylveon ran up, Jumping past Morgrem leaving a scar on it. "Mor!" Morgrem was about to attack but didnt. It looked to be immobilised by love. Sylveon took this as a chance and used disarming voice making Morgrem look happy from its singing voice, "Sylve?!" Sylveon backflipped away as Morgrem tried to kiss her.

Sylveon growled and used swift getting Morgrem to retreat. "You defeated my guard, Next time we meet we'll see if you can beat me." Opal said but when the three trainers look around, Nobody was there

"Who said that?!" "What was that?!" "Where was that from?!" The three screamed but Morgrem walked up putting a pink z-ring and fairium Z in her hand. "Sylve?" Sylveon walked up looking at the items. Opal appeared again with Ralts "You're gonna go big with your pokemon" Opal smiles to her and walks away as Ralts comes over.

"Thats a fairium Z! How did Morgrem find it?" Ash looked to where Morgrem was but it was gone. "We should probably go home." Avery stared blankly and started walking with Sylveon wrapping its feelers on her hand, Ralts beside her

As the journey continues.
