I shoved my belongs into the leather suitcase and my body shook with emotion. I thought chris had changed. He was always a huge flirt but when we started dating he calmed down. He was a gentleman and never ever looked at another girl in a romantic way. But I had came home too see Jill valentine my best friend in bed with my fiance. Jill rushed down the stairs to me.

'(y/n) seriously I didnt know about you too! I havent seen you or Chris since he went missing. You know I've been hidden away' she exclaimed. I knew it was true. Jill had hidden away from the world still paranoid about getting attacked.

'Jill its fine' I reassured her. My heart felt like it had been torn straight out of my body and all I could think of was the shock on that mans face as I caught him. I wasnt supposed to be home this early but I was let off and wanted to surprise Chris. I even bought some nice wine and some ingredients for a nice romantic meal. Only to find him in the arms of another girl. I knew I wasnt good enough for him but for him to cheat?

'I'm going to go Jill' I said hugging her one last time. 

'(Y/n) wait!' Chris had run over to me. His eyee werent focusing properly and his words were slurred. He almost tripped over himself. I could tell he was drunk.

'Baby it was the boys they got me drunk and I wasnt really thinking straight' he rushed to me and clutched my hands. I wrenched them away. I could smell the alcohol on his breath and it made me shudder.

'Chris... I believe you ane I still love you' I said picking up the suitcase. It was true. Even though he had hurt me I still loved him with all of my aching heart.

'But give me a week or two I'm still hurt. I'll come back. We just need a break' I sighed. There i didnt break up with him. But I gave us some space. Chris nodded and I walked out the door tears running down my cheek.
