One person's lips

When Hero came back home Felix was already asleep on the perfectly made white bed wearing his skateboarding clothes.

Some weeks passed and Hero was still working at the hospital and Felix was going out skateboarding all day long. They even had time to go skateboarding together.

At the hospital nothing was different then the other days. Every Friday from 7pm Jennie was coming at therapy with Hero. After talking about Jennie's week and what she went through in the past years, at around 8 and a half pm she stood up and came near Hero.
,,Doctor Kay? Do you mind if I call you Hero?"
,,Huh?... will that make you get better in any way?"
,,Yes! I think it will really help me because the way you talk to me makes me think you are my friend!" She said while coming near him and taking off her sweater. She was wearing a tight black top underneath ,,Is getting kind of hot in here! Shall we open up a window or something?"
,,I don't really think is that hot in here. The air conditioner is on at the moment" said Hero with his blazer on burning on him.
Jennie came really close to him.
,,Can I tell you a secret, Hero?"
,,You know that our conversations are strict confidential and is just both of us here. You can say it louder"
,,But I will feel more confortable to whisper it to you"
Hero fixed the papers in front of him and grabbed his pen. Jennie didn't wait for his answer and easily touched his neck wit her fingers, Hero put his hands in front of his mouth and slowly tilted his head down, after that Jennie touched him with her other hand his heads and took them off his handsome face, that made Hero put his head back to look at her. She instantly grabbed his chin and kissed his cold lips.
,,I asked if I could call you Hero because I really think we could actually be friends. What do you think?" She said while placing her head closer to his, close enough so their foreheads were touching.
Hero dragged his voice and easily pushed her away.
,,So what was the secret you wanted to tell me?" He said without changing his cold expression with a small smile in the corner.
Jennie looked sadly surprised straight in his cold eyes that somehow got warmer in her imagination.
The silence between them was broken by Jennie's mother and the nurse who was with her.
,,Why are you two so close?!" Said Jennie's mother.
Hero placed his back on the back of his chair leaving a gap in between them.
,,Jennie really wanted to tell me a secret even though everything here is strict confidential"
After they left the nurse gave him a strange look and then closed the door of his office, Hero stood up and started looking over the window at the city lights.
When he got back home Felix surprised him with his favorite type of noodles. They both sat eating under the small light over the table.

Next week at the hospital Hero left in a big hurry and forgot Jennie's files at home so he asked Felix to come by the hospital to give them to him but because of the heavy traffic and bad weather he was not able to drive fast enough to get there on time so he arrived exactly when they were close to finish. Meanwhile Hero wrote everything on an other piece of paper.
,,Hi! Sorry for being so late Hero! It's totally crazy what's going on out there they even said on the news that we should stay in till the storm is over"
,,That's alright you are right in time and I heard that too. Also just so you know we have to drive Jennie home as well. Her mom asked me if I could take her home because of the heavy traffic. Hope that will be alright"
,,Sure no problem. Here you go" he placed the files in front of Hero's hands.
,,Thank you for bringing them"
Hero started transferring the information on the right papers, Felix sat on a chair in the corner of the room next to the window and Jennie sat exactly where she sat the entire month, on the chair in front of Hero's desk. The silence was so deep that the only sound was the rain hitting the windows and the thunders. After 1 hour Jennie broke it.
,,So are we really not going to talk about last week?"
,,What should we talk about? I sent you the report exactly 24 hours after the session. Was something not clear enough in the email I sent to you mother?"
,, I was not talking about that"
,,Then what" Hero closed the files and put them in his bag to take them back home.
,,About that kiss we shared?" Said Jennie with a small smile on her face.
Felix looked up from his phone's screen to see his friend's reaction.
,,Excuse me?!"
,,Seriously!? Don't act like you don't remember! We both kissed. I really believe that you feel exactly the same I feel about you. You are the one who saved me and, Hero...." she didn't manage to finish the sentence because of Felix who stood up and walked out of the room.
,,We can go now. The storm is almost over" he said while looking down at the Jordans he borrowed from Hero's closet.
Hero stood up to grabbed his coat from the back of his chair.
,,Are you okay" he asked.
,,Let me break your heart and see if you are okay" Said Felix and left down the hallway.
Jennie looked extremely confused and was looking at both of them.
,,Let's get going, Jennie!"
Felix was already downstairs and he was even waiting for them outside in the rain. The car was in the parking near by.
,,Oh look! It's still raining" Jennie said pretty excited
,,Yes! You are right!" Hero said taking off his coat.
Felix was already wet to his bones. Hero took off his coat, Jennie was expecting that Hero would put his coat on her shoulders because she was only wearing a top but he rushed to Felix and put it on his shoulders so smoothly that he didn't even noticed or he just pretended not to. Hero made Jennie a sign to follow them.
The whole ride was extremely silent. The only sound was Felix asking for directions.
After they left Jennie at home Felix drove Hero home as well.
,,And we are back. Come on!"
Felix didn't move from the steering wheel. He didn't even looked over at his friend that was already outside the car.
,,Aren't you coming?"
,,I am going home. Good night, Hero"
Hero didn't know what to say or what to do.
,,Why are you going back home? Aren't you feeling more comfortable here?"
,, I was here with you for the past two weeks. It's time I go to my place" and after he said that he drove away in the dark.
,,Are we done? Please let me come with you"
To get back home Felix had to go over the Tokyo bridge. The bridge was empty at 11pm. There were no cars, only the colorful lights of the bridge. He started feeling like a knife was going trough his mind and his heart just like in the night when he was talking to his mother. The car engine was becoming louder and louder. The rain was hitting his front window and the road was slippery. He was driving with 160 k/h.
