Pt7

They came back one day before Hero's birthday. That night was a bit rainy in Tokyo but that didn't stop them from staying on the balcony cheering up Felix that came on 1st place in Osaka.
,,Congratulations! I knew you could do it. I am so proud of you!" Said Hero hugging his boyfriend.
,, I could not done without you there. Seriously! It really means a lot. Thank you!"
,, I believe that even if I wasn't there you would have won the competition. I mean you won the nationals twice right? And you are not even Japanese"
,,That was different. Back then I was doing everything on my own. I was living and skateboarding alone and because of that I was weak. For the first time at the nationals I was 18 years old and that could have been the end for me"
,,Don't say that. You are here now. And you might think your weak for being alone at such a young age but that actually made you stronger. When you were on the Tokyo highway you knew what was about to happen and stopped yourself even if you thought that was the end. It's totally alright to have depression, you only have to take good care of it. So if you want every day after I'm back home I will do you a free therapy service because I didn't really get the chance to help you out with it"
,,Do you mean from now on you will come home to take off my shirt and and play with me or something?" Asked Felix amused.
,,Excuse me?! That was not therapy that was..."
,,Of course it was therapy! At least for me it was. But it was also more than that"
Hero covered his face with his hands . Felix took them off and kissed him. The rain was big enough to finally wet them but that didn't stop them.
,,Hero"
,,What?!"
,,I am hungry!"
Hero laughed and continued to kiss him.
,,Hero"
,,What now?"
,,I am serious"
,,Alright then give 2 more minutes. This reminds me of..."
,,Our first kiss at the skating park"
When they got in, Hero took of his shirt because it was wet. He went straight into the kitchen and started looking around to see what could he cook for his boyfriend. He decided to cook him some dumplings because they were his favorites.
,,Here! Eat well I am going to bed because I am going to work tomorrow. They found an other doctor to take care of my patients while I was on this small lovely holiday with you and also and other therapist to take care of Jennie. Good night"
,,Good night"

The next morning at the hospital 20 minutes after he got into his office a nurse comes in to let him that the boss is waiting for him in his office and better hurry.
Inside the office were Jennie and both of her parents this time. Hero's heart started to beat like crazy. He was panicking.
,,This is the second time when you are late and this time it's not good, not to mention that you once forgot Jennie's files and had someone bring them. Didn't you check the email I sent you last night that I told you to come one hour earlier. For today all of your shifts are covered so you can go after this"
Hero started all sweating. What email was he talking about? Did he found out that Jennie kissed him? What were they all doing there? Hero's mind went black. He fixed his blazer and his glasses and then responded.
,,I want to apologize for not seeing the email you sent me last night. I arrived pretty late at home and decided to go to sleep. I am really sorry. Is everything alright? I see Jennie and her parents are here" he said while coming closer to one them touching the back of an empty chair.
,,Please sit. We will have a lot to talk about but first do you have Jennie's fills here?"
,,Yes" he took them out of his bag and gave them to a nurse that give it to mr. Zadler.
,,So how was your longer weekend. Did you go in Osaka?"
,,Yes, it was pretty good actually"
,,Glad to hear that. Do you know why I called you in today?"
,,No sir"
,,I called you because a few weeks ago you asked me if someone else could take care of Jennie's case because you said it's affecting you personal life. Could you be a little more specific? Did something happen?"
,,Yes. We..." started Jennie but got interrupted by Hero.
,, I know that I shouldn't combine my personal life with my job but that day when I forgot Jennie's filles and I had someone to come and bring them that someone was my boyfriend. One week earlier Jennie got extremely close to me and unfortunately she  thought it would been a good idea to kiss me"
Jennie's parents freaked out when they heard that.
,,Now... the day when he came to bring me the filles he could not go back because of the storm and waited in my office till we could leave. We also had to drive Jennie home that night. While I was transferring the data on her filles she asked what were my feelings about her, moment when my boyfriend walked out. To be truly honest with you I have never had feelings for a woman so there's nothing I feel for her. She is my patient and I am doing my best to help. And I feel the need to say that what she asked me that night actually affected my relationship. My boyfriend has been trough a lot of family drama and even had a suicide attempt a couple of years ago and it really affected him"
,,I understand. Do you mind if I ask in what way did he try to do it? And can you tell me what is his mental state now?"
,,He tried to do it while driving on the Tokyo highway 6 years ago. I am sorry but that rest is strict confidential so I can't give you any more details.
,,Alright. From how long have you been dating?"
,,Sorry but do you mind if I ask what does this has to do with Jennie's case right now?"
,,Not really. Jennie's parents really wanted you to be the one to take care of her case because Jennie said that she was really feeling confortable around you but I didn't think it will get that confortable"
,,Will Jennie continue her therapy with dr. Kay?"
,, I don't think so. Their behavior was not alright. So I would want you to answer to the previous question dr. Kay"
,,What am I supposed to answer to?"
,,If you don't answer I will have to assume that you have been interacting with Jennie in some different ways and fire you for that"
,,Mr. Zadler! Please do not fire dr. Kay! Please!" Said Jennie.
Hero stood up fixing the bottom of his blazer.
,,I have been sleeping with him for almost one year now. Is that all what you want to know?"
Jennie and her parents froze.
,,I am really sorry but I didn't know if you can work for us anymore..."
,,Good bye" Hero left his badge on the table, took his coat and left the room.
,,Doctor Kay!" Jennie's dad stood up to go after him.
,, I did kiss him! It's not his fault. I was the one that got close. He was such a nice men and he was so respectful with me that I thought he liked me but actually I was wrong. That's just how he is. Respectfully friendly"
,,Jennie!?" Said her mother.
,, That evening when you invited him over I also tried to kiss him to see if he was feeling something for me because maybe he was not feeling confortable to kiss me back in his office. But when I went outside to give his blazer back and close the gate I saw him kissing that guy but I didn't mean to break his career like this... his relationship was perfectly secret and you wouldn't had to fire him if I didn't do that. I am really sorry!" she started crying.
