"Kyan!!" Kyan could hear a bubbly voice in the distance "Kyan!!" He recognises that voice, it's the voice he wants to wake up to every morning "Kyan!!" Why is he calling like that?
"Kyan!!! wake up already!, we're gonna be late for classes today, we already have a bad relationship with our teacher, do you really wanna make it worse!?" He yelled from the living room of their shared apartment
Huh? they had classes today? but wasn't it a saturday?
Kyan awoke, wiping the drool off his double layered chin. It seems he stayed up late watching quality entertainment again, how irresponsible!

He's sighed, did life really have to interrupt him when he was finally enjoying himself? how pitiful. He turned off the my chemical romance playing on his speakers and hurriedly put on his outfit, who needs showers anyways? he then walked to the living room to see shaun already sitting and eating "I made food, hurry up and eat! on normal days you eat my food faster than rent eats my money" he said sternly
"Alright alright" Kyan said. The food looked delicious, maybe he would eat it faster than rent eats their money
"well aren't you wife material.." he mumbled
"huh?? did you say something? sorry, i wasn't paying attention"
"nothing, you heard nothing" kyan shot back, embarrassed. did he really say that out loud?
"Alright, im done. Let's go, ill get my bag" Kyan said, changing the topic
He rushed to his room to grab his bag, which shaun had gifted to him in the 5th grade

Oh how fond he was of him, what he wouldn't give for a moment, just a moment where they could just let go of all their worries and just live peacefully together with each other to rely on.
How selfish of him, he didn't even know if Shaun liked him back, but even if he didn't, Kyan had no courage to tell him how he felt, and he was very happy living as someone close to him, his best friend. But sometimes, he just wishes they could be more
"Kyan, are you done having your moment? we're 10 minutes late and the car isn't starting"

Once they arrived to their classes, they immediately sat down after being scolded by their teacher. The whole time, shaun could feel a pair of eyes burning into the back of his skull, but he ignored it. 'Probably just one of my creepy classmates' he thought, zoning out the entire lesson
After classes, Kyan and Shaun parted ways since, as fate had it, Shaun's locker was across the campus from Kyan's, Kyan was always annoyed by this, is this a sign to just stay friends?
The moment he opened his locker, a piece of paper fell out.. strange, he didn't remember putting that there, maybe it was from somebody?
He thought right, the moment he opened the paper, he saw a conversation between his friend named Aedan and... Shaun? did they have a conversation during our lesson? the date says it was written today, and he didn't see Shaun passing notes with someone, even if he did wouldn't he have gotten caught?
He was getting off topic, if he just kept overthinking like that he'd waste more time which he could have spent basking in Shaun's bright presence, so he sighed and read the note
"Shaun!! this is Aedan, i noticed you look really annoyed when your around Kyan, is he bothering you? you don't seem to like him that much, and you do all of the chores for him!! how stupid is that? -Aedan"
pfft, what a stupid question!! obviously shaun liked spending time with him, who did he think he was just asking tha-
"Nope, i don't like him one bit. i feel like his housewife doing all the chores and cooking every day, he always lazes around doing nothing and it annoys me, would rather room with you tbh -Shaun"
His heart felt heavy reading that, did he really bother shaun that much? his eyes began to blur with tears, all this time they've spent together and he just says that. But could this really be Shaun? He didn't see shaun passing papers around during classes, he was zoning out the entire time! but even if this wasn't Shaun..
How did Aedan know Shaun did the chores?
He couldn't even bear the thought of him at that moment, he felt so.. betrayed! how could he do this to him?? after all they've been through together he just goes on and says that, was he really that lazy? did he not do enough around the apartment? but shaun would always scold me if i did the chores in fear i'd get tired, was that just an excuse??

This was all too much for him, all he could do was take off sobbing. As he ran off, he felt a pair of eyes looking at him from a distance
