I feel sick, disturbed and uncomfortable. They made me go on that ride 3 painful times. If I wasn't trying to embarrass myself, I would've thrown up after the first time.

"Woo! That was so fun! Where next Cas? Or are we going on this again?" One of the boys asked, lazily slipping his arm over Cassie. Cassie only smiled in reply but I would rather die then go on that ride again.

"N-no! Why don't we go on something else?" I interjected, quickly.

"Aw, Ira. Want do you want to go on?" Effy questioned me. I had no problem with her asking me; if it wasn't in a baby voice. Either, she was teasing me, or thought I was a two year old who didn't know first-class English.

I ignored her comment, nonetheless, "We should go on the Ferris wheel. I heard around that they have some great views." I'm sure I didn't sound convincing, seeing as I was on the ride most of my time here, but this is Effy and Cassie we're talking about.

"Bro, we should! I'm sure the view is great! How much per cart?" One of the taller boys asked.

"Let's go find out." I said, happily my time on this ride was finally over. "The que doesn't look too long from here."

Walking over to the line for the Ferris Wheel, I tried to subtly look for Regina and Y/n. They were no where to be found in the large amount of people and knowing them, they're somewhere secluded where less people are. What I was worried about.

The sky began to darken as rain clouds came above. Staff members were going around telling everyone to have their last ride before the park closes. People began to quickly get their things, ready to leave and I was too, until a firm hand held me back.

"Ira, where are you going? We're next on the ride." Cassie said, a drop of rain running down her nose.

"Is it safe to go on? What if it gets windy?" I said in a fake worried tone. Of course, I could save myself, but the others couldn't.

"Oh come on! Live a little." The blonde boy said. Man, I hate people.

"Only 3 per cart please." The lady working the ride announced.

"Hey, I though you could allow 6 people?" Cassie, said disappointed.

"Yes we did say that, but we're trying to limit the amount of people to make the cart lighter in the rain." Does that even make sense?

Sadly, I got chosen with Cassie and Effy since it 'made the most sense'. I just wanted to leave!

"So, how's you and Y/n?" Cassie squealed excitedly; I knew this was coming.

"We're doing quite well actually, I think I'm going to marry her one day." I announced, smiling at the thought of Y/n in a beautiful gown, strutting down the aisle. Only then will I know that I've won in life. Marrying the girl of my dreams

"Ira? Hello?" Effy whispered, waving her hand obnoxiously in my face. I was broken out of my fantasy world and was now put in a bad mood, I was enjoying myself there. "We're almost at the top."

"Why couldn't I figure that out myse-"

"Oo! Look, look, look at the view!" Cassie interrupted, thankfully.

I wasn't sure what she was showing exactly, as the fog from the upcoming rain covered most of- everything really. Wait, I could probably spot Regina and Y/n from up here!

Moving myself away from the left side of the cart, I pressed my face against the right side, where the fair was. First I looked for Regina, as she stands out with her long, golden blonde hair but she was no where to be found. Strange. I tried to look for Y/n next, hoping that she was still here. I missed her face already. It also felt odd to be away from her for so long.

My eyes fell upon a small figure sat on a bench, inspecting something if their hands. It was Y/n. I was glad she was okay, but she was completely alone. Unlike me, who had found some familiar faces. I hope she was okay.

"Y/n?" I questioned through telepathy, wondering if she could find me even at a far distance. Surprisingly, her head lifted, as she looked around. She knew it was my voice, I think.

"Up here, you donut."

Y/n, hesitantly looked up and around until she saw my face. She smiled sweetly and waved. I could tell we were both happy to see each other, even after a short amount of time.

"What are you doing up there?" Y/n asked me, ignoring my nickname for her.

"You'll never believe who I saw."

"Who? Come on, spill."

"Cassie and Effy!"

Y/n's expression changed. She looked upset and angry. Did I say something wrong? The Ferris Wheel began to make its way down.

"Why are you with them?" She interrogated. I was confused. I thought they were friends.

"Nothing, they saw me with their other friends and made me go on a couple rides." I answered, carefully picking my words.

"Nothings wrong with that, but I thought we agreed to keep to ourselves. I don't want Rachel to spot us and put us in danger. And you're on a Ferris Wheel! Are you asking for unwanted attention?

I could tell she was slightly upset, as the rain made her look sadder.

"I'm sorry. I did try not to involve myself."

"Hey, its okay. We should probably get going. Its starting to rain."

"And go where?"

My question was cut short as the Ferris Wheel shook aggressively. It shook so hard, I began to feel my stomach churning as it did from the previous ride.

"What was that?" Cassie asked, already trembling.

"Probably the wind, we're almost at the ground now." Effy answered, grabbing Cassie's hand. I would love to enjoy the moment of seeing her scared but its not the time right now. There were other things happening. I looked to Y/n for help, only to see her eyes bursting out of her face.

"Ira, get out now." Was all she said.

Looking above my cart was the one and only, Rachel.

"Ow!" I yelled, kneeling down to hold my now bleeding leg. I'm always injuring myself! I wish I wasn't so clumsy. That's the fifth time I've tripped. There was now blood gushing out of my leg and I had no way to fix it.

Limping over to a fallen tree, I sat down trying to make myself comfortable. I noticed that it had began to rain and I should start making my way back to fair. My leg was becoming number by the second. I leant my head back onto the tree behind me, only to feel an uncomfortable dent in it. I was shuffling slightly, when I decided to look at the tree. It was a large oak tree, probably the biggest and strongest in the forest. Looking closer, I could see something had been carved into the great tree.

{paix corrompue}

Its French. It means: corrupted peace. No, we weren't weird kids in particular, it was something we heard while walking around. Strangely enough, Splendorians could speak just about any language if I can recall. One of the old ladies kept repeating the phrase and Ira asked what it meant. Long story short, she translated it and we just wrote it on our tree so we wouldn't-

Wait, our tree? This couldn't possibly be our tree. The forest had disappeared and was never seen again. Unless, I'm in that same forest right now!

No that's impossible. I chuckled slightly at the thought. If this really was the forest, then anything I though of would appear, right?

Bandages.

"Ow!" I yelled again. But not because I had fallen or tripped, but because a box of bandages landed on my head. A rush of excitement went through me, as my smile reached lengths I didn't know it could reach.

"Oh my guacamole, I'm HOME!"
