You're amazing

Phil's POV:

'...you will be able to see again.'

I looked over at Dan to see his face light up with relief and hope. I smiled fondly at the grin spreading across his face as the doctor excused himself from the room.

'Phil? Did you hear that?'
'Yes Dan, I'm sitting right next to you.' I replied jokingly before engulfing him into a bone crushing hug.
'I may be able to see again.' I heard the muffled voice rising form my shoulder.
'I know Dan.' I whispered and littered kisses all over his forehead then capturing his lips in a small kiss.

I heard the door to the doctor's office open, Dan and I pulled apart as doctor Watson walked back in.

'Okay so we'll be needing for you to come back in a few days to run a few tests, then hopefully we can get started on the operation.' Dan grabbed my hand and squeezed it lightly, another small smile etching it's way onto his beautiful face. I squeezed back and turned my attention again to the doctor.

'Here is another bottle of your eye drops,' he handed the small bottle to me sitting down at his desk again before continuing, 'I've scheduled your next appointment for five days from now, so keep applying the drops three times a day Daniel and I will see you soon.'

'Thank you doctor.' Dan said whilst I shook his hand. We said goodbye and left the medical practice hand in hand.

**back at the phan flat**

Dan's POV:

My little dark world seemed to get brighter and brighter everyday. I finally may be able to see again. I will finally be able see the beauty of the sky in the morning again and watch the sun set after a busy day. I will finally be able to see the park again. Watch the birds again. See Phil with my own eyes again.

'Okay you're right next to the couch so you can sit down, I'll go put the kettle on.' I heard Phil say only inches away from my ear. I quickly grabbed his arm when I heard him start to move away.
'Wait one sec.' I clasped my fingers around his and pulled him towards me, hugging him gently. He wrapped his arms around my neck just as mine slung around his middle.

'Thank you for being amazing Phil.' I mumbled into his chest. I heard a giggle escape his lips and smiled at the adorable human that is my boyfriend.

'It's quite alright Danny.' He giggled again and pulled away. 'Now go sit your arse down so I can make some tea.'
'Make sure you remember the sugar this time!' I called after him.
'Yeah yeah.' Phil called back. I heard him giggling again as the kettle started to make noises. I could hear the clank of the spoons and the opening of cupboards. Just opening.

'Phil shut those God damn doors!'
