"Please stop crying!" Eijun, who was still sobbing over Chris-compliment, was carried by two-second string players.
"I'm going to do it!" Haruichi, who was standing right next to Eijun, grinned as he screamed. "I'm going to work really hard." As he continued to yell gibberish, tears streamed down his cheeks.
"I understand, but you have to walk on your own!" The guy groaned, clutching Eijun's hand to prevent him from falling. He never imagined that being on a baseball team would entail transporting an imbecile.
Chris grunted and closed his eyes, sweatdropping at the First-year who was just humiliating himself. "You're done for today, Sawamura," Coach Kataoka groaned at the crying first-year. He sat up straight and talked with his arms crossed. "First, play catch, then ice your shoulder."
Eijun sprung out of the arms of his comrades carrying him. "Huh?!" he said, his lips widening in surprise. "But what about our offense in the last of the inning?"
"Or am I no longer useful to you?"
As he glared at the youngster, the Coach developed a tic mark on his brow "You're finished. Period" He said something that made Eijun stop talking. Eijun had a knack for irritating people. It was almost like a gift from him.
Yuji groaned as he leaned against the fence, closing his eyes and shaking his head at his brother. "That's no way to address your upperclassmen," Miyuki said, putting an arm over Yuji's shoulder.
"I'm basically talking about you and my brother, Kazuya," the first-year muttered.
"This is the respect I get?" said Miyuki, abruptly turning his head. He remarked this as he approached Furuya, who had just turned away from him.
"At least I have Furuya to look up to," Miyuki added, only to be disregarded by another first-year. "Hayhaa! You are a moron "Kuromichi chuckled and pointed to the second-year, who was staring at the two first-years.
"I thought I instructed you to respect your seniors," The elder Kominato said in front of Yuji, who only smirked. "Sorry for missing you, Senpai. Why are you so short and inconspicuous?" Yuji responded, clearly attempting to annoy the shorter third-year.
